What version of the game are you playing? I am rather intrigued...

I'm playing a "151" hack of the original red version; I got the download from the PokeCommunity forums.It's a new experience- certainly makes things interesting!

Phew! That was a challenging battle! Brock (the evil one) had a Lv. 15 Onix and a Lv. 17 Aerodactyl.

Cubone easily took care of the Onix, before using Growl to lower Aerodactyl's attack as low as it would go. Diglett stepped in to do a tiny bit of damage with Scratch, before Vulpix showed up; got lucky a couple times against Rock Slide, and eventually Ember-ed our way to victory!
