Miner Transport Aircraft Interior
This aircraft was in use to transport working coal miners from place to place during shifts at the mine. This private aircraft desperately needed a facelift and I helped provide that! From being a “normal” private interior, this aircraft was transformed into a plane with more seats than ANY other. The dark leather and carpet were used for obvious dirt reasons, but a lighter headliner allowed the space to be much more open.
Private Owned Aircraft Interior
The owner of this private aircraft wanted a new updated look for transporting family members and friends. With requirements for the changes, I helped design a space that not only was FAA approved, but family approved. High contrasting neutrals with easy-clean surfaces were a must!
Waupaca Aircraft Materials
Chosen materials for a complete private aircraft refurbishment; this specific aircraft was a Cessna Citation, made to custom fit the customer’s needs as owners of a foundry.
Color & Material Studies
Color and material studies from my recent work experiences; my past jobs often allowed me to create material and pattern schemes, which were applied to many different interiors, ranging from residential to private aircraft.
Lace Woven Wall Light
Making functional objects is a big reason I love to create. This light was created not only to provide a delicate ambiance, but also the smallest bit of warm light to a space. Created with lace trim and appliqués, I wove them together to create the front facing shade. The rest of the wall light has a wooden base and frosted acrylic cut-outs, for a minor backlit affect.
Material Resist Dyeing & Dye Processes
Color and materials have always had a special place in my heart. These projects are a combination of many different techniques, including rust dyeing, resist dyeing, and marbling. I crafted each by hand and delicate precision. The dye process spans across natural materials as well as synthetic.
Vessel Creation
These vessels were created as a trio, allowing difference & similarity to play off one another. These began as models within a digital format, Rhino, and then were placed within Keyshot to be rendered in different materials, colors, and environmental depths.
Sci-Fi Chess Set
This chess set was designed to reflect a retro sci-fi aesthetic. The pieces were originally created in a digital program, Rhino, rendered within Keyshot, and printed using a 3D printing machine. From start to finish, this project opened doors for my design process and pushed my skills to new heights.
Childhood Preservation
A dream of mine was to make an installation that involved an interactive and fun curated space. This project took the idea of childhood and “boxed it up.” I experimented, trying to obtain the same esthetic feeling across material mediums.
Blue Button Logo
A local bakery was looking for a logo design that could launch their company into success; these are some concepts that I created, making sure there was an inviting, homemade vibe when seen. I used a play-on-words in order to grab the attention of those passing by.

Part of my personal life includes being part of a non-profit called One Until Everyone, which brings awareness to Human Trafficking, in hopes to stop it in its tracks. The first part of bringing awareness to a controversial topic is making sure readers understand the basic information. Making a statement on social media, while clearly delivering information, is important. These graphics were the start of a Back2Basics campaign geared toward showing viewers the information in a creative & attention-grabbing manor.
Surprise Print
In the depth of my studies, I engaged the idea of capturing emotions through pattern and color; this was the study of “surprise!” I printed this on a cotton-linen blend base with common screen printing ink. This was initially aimed to be used for upholstery within a tiny home concept, but the application could be flexible. The pattern and color combination is a bold representation of my take on the element of surprise.
Mobile Kite Festival Poster Concept
This was created as a concept poster for a state-known kite festival, held in Grand Haven, Michigan. I wanted to add another level of interest by making a creative stop-motion-styled poster that could be used both physically and digitally.
Laser Cutting
In finding an object at the Detroit Institute of Arts that speaks to the time period it was created, while reflecting one of today’s modern techniques, laser cutting, I decided to create these objects. I also tried to incorporate lots of material play and exploration, ranging from wood and acrylic, to synthetic organza.
The artwork I decided to study with was “The Money Tree,” a scuplture made around 220 AD in the world of Asian art history.
