I miss you. Come to me. It's been too long... I need you. I'm struggling.

Look on one hand I understand people who are saying "they're leaving out Gabrielle's gender nonconformity because it would be harmful in today's political environment", but also why do we get to explore the boundaries of morality for gay and non-white characters but gender is suddenly off the table? It has never been a "good" time politically to explore any of this stuff, especially when Anne was writing the books, but she did it anyway and that is part of what makes the books and the show so appealing to queer people, these characters don't exist to be "good representation" in a way that some people mean it to be "sanitized enough to not alienate a cishet audience". I didn't even need Gabrielle to be explicitly transmasc, she could've just been someone who tried to escape the extreme limitations of her role as a woman through Lestat, but all of the promotions have led me to believe that she is no less feminine in the modern day than in the flashbacks. I've loved many of the changes and adaptational choices the writers have made thus far, but I can't help but see this as a complete flattening of Gabrielle's character, into some sort of weirdly seductive, "cunty", incest boymom. I don't mean to come across as doomposting before the show comes out, and I'll happily be proved wrong if this is not the case in the actual show, but every single piece of promotion regarding Gabrielle that I've seen has just made me scratch my head. Also the wig, lest we forget the wig.
look at them so happy to be gay and broke
now i don’t know enough about omegaverse to say anything definitively but from what i have seen it certainly looks like it emulates insects much more than wolves.
like if you’re looking for an animal with strictly defined castes and extensive use of pheromones you are looking for ants i think
i'm never drawing three characters on one canvas ever again
Lestat's possession confirmed, et cetera x
Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy Interview with the Vampire — 3.01
“I had you covered” IM SO FUCKING STUPID!! I just realized that the Loumand face down in the coffin you can read em to me while I fuck you moment (while hot) was Louis distracting Armand so Claudia could go see Madeleine one last time and tell her to leave town!!! That’s why she was nearby when Madeleine was about to be assaulted omg THEY PLANNED FOR HER TO GO SEE HER and this is one of the reasons why Louis’ so pissed to find Madeleine in their apartment!!! “That’s the dressmaker you were supposed to run out of town” I swear to god this show literally spells out what’s going on but when I see Louis’ big beautiful eyes and frustrated little pout, I lose the ability to read!!!!!!!
it only got worse...
this Armand with this Daniel 🥵
Ok well someone’s gotta post it.
