Fantastic!
August 22nd & 23rd, 2018
On the 22nd, I had my weekly chiropractor appointment, then I went to brunch with one of my very best friends before she left for college.
Later that day, I had work and it went smoothly, only two customers, the usual. Lol.
My pointe shoes came in! The manager of the shop I work at ordered them specially for me BOOYAH. Since I am already living the broke college student life, I didn’t purchase them yet.
That night, I got to help with a fitting for an upcoming ballet we’re doing this season.
Today, since I had packed the majority of my stuff yesterday, I relaxed a bit. I tanned outside for an hour or two, then I had to get ready for dance.
Ballet class was great, except I fell. Again. This time I slipped instead of losing my balance like I did in Tuesday’s class. Other than that, it was a really good class for me!
After class, I had to help with the fitting again since there were two nights of it. I feel powerful like that.
I have about 98% of my stuff packed, so tomorrow I will finish up and then I’m off to Move-In Day!
August 21st, 2018
It was an interesting day.
I got donuts for my family and I, I ate some, then started packing for college.
Packing is hard.
Later today, I had ballet class. It was also quite... interesting.
It started off GREAT, but when we got to center, things went downhill. In the very FIRST exercise in center I somehow fell forward and landed on my hands, and luckily I was okay. It was EXTREMELY embarrassing because my super strict ballet teacher was watching because a new male dancer took that class as an audition.
As the class went on, I felt worse and worse. BUT, at the end of class, my other ballet teacher asked me and one of the professionals in my ballet company to partner with the new guy and I wanted the floor to swallow me up.
Why was I chosen??? My teacher WATCHED me have a horrible class.
Well, I have a theory.
This fall, my ballet company is doing Serenade which is a famous ballet choreographed my George Balanchine. In the ballet, there are three female leads and 4 demi-soloists. The professionals in my company would be casted as those roles except, there are 7 of those roles and only 6 professionals (It’s a small ballet company). So my friends and I have come up with a theory and I’m going to fill that extra demi-soloist spot and I want to be casted as that, but I don’t think I’m good enough.
Casting is coming out in about two to three weeks so we will see then.
Stress.
Goodnight!
August 20th, 2018
I’m feeling much better today.
I had a Podiatrist appointment for my bruised toenail and the lady basically clipped off a bit of the nail that was bruised, so hopefully it won’t hurt as much tomorrow night in ballet class.
I then went to Panera Bread for lunch with one of my best friends which cheered me up!
At home, I started packing for college. I cleaned, organized, and packed up all the makeup I don’t use everyday, and I even threw some makeup out that I either don’t use or are just very old and gross.
Later today, I went to dinner with my family at an Italian Restaurant and then we went shopping for more things for my dorm room.
I got home and started an organized pile of stuff to pack!
Goodnight!
August 19th
I’m too sad to tell the events of today.
I’m sorry.
My day was pretty okay, I just learned news of something that made me a little sad.
It shouldn’t make me sad but I am.
Long story short, I get attached to people too quickly.
Goodnight.
Am I wet? Am I on my period? Did I pee my pants?- next on wtf is going on down there.
I’m so glad this is a universal wondering among vagina-owners, haha.
‘Vagina-owners’
Tune in next time for: Are these menstrual cramps? Am I pregnant? Is it just gas? I wouldn’t have to ask these questions if I didn’t have a damn uterus
Next week: Is it a bladder infection? An ovarian cyst? Do I have endometriosis? Oh God please do not let it be cervical cancer! A 20/20 special
Y'all are forgetting the all-time classic: Is it just my period or is my appendix about to burst? Some nice tea and a heatpack or 911 and emergency surgery?
There is actually a test for that last one!
Place your hand over the pain, press down slightly and release. If the pain doesn’t change by any great margin, you’re fine. If it suddenly becomes some painful you can barely stand, Get thee to an Emergency Room
reblog for the safety of vaginas and their owners
The appendix test works with or without a vagina so reblogging for everyone.
August 16th, 17th, & 18th, 2018
It’s been a crazy couple of days.
On August 16th, I woke up in my cousin’s room after staying the night after getting home from NYC. I said my goodbyes, gathered my stuff, and drove home. I immediately laid in my bed and watched a little YouTube to relax.
Then, I helped my mom clean up the house to prepare for a party the next day. That night, I had ballet class and it was difficult again but it was good for me.
On the 17th, I woke up bright and early to get ready for the party I was about to throw. At around 1:00 i went to get balloons and some more food for the party (we put the balloons on my mailbox). At 2:00 the party started!
It was so much fun because my dance and school friends got to meet up and everyone was so friendly and GAH it was so fun!!! At one point during the party I got to tell ALL of them this big story that I may or may not tell one day on this blog... I’ve mentioned it before recently but I haven’t told the full story because it is WILD.
Anyways, today I had work at 9:00 a.m. and it was pretty mellow, as in some people came in to buy stuff but it was mostly sitting and talking with my coworkers and such. The usual.
Later today, I got to see my dorm room finally! Today was my university’s “Drop & Go Day” where we basically can drop off stuff in the dorm but we can’t stay. Move-In Day is actually the 24th of August, and that’s when we stay. There’s another Drop & Go Day tomorrow and my roommate will be there! We’re going out to dinner afterwards too!
After dropping off stuff in my dorm room, I went to my friend’s grad party and I had such a fun time with some of my (now former) school friends! We played volleyball which was hysterical because we did girls vs. boys and the boys got SO INTO IT and we were laughing so hard. We ate s’mores at the end of the night and chilled out. It was bittersweet because I said goodbye to some of my good friends as they are leaving for college soon :) I am so proud of all of them and I can’t wait to see everything they accomplish!
Goodnight!

Today. Was. The. Day!!!
I finally got to see Anastasia on Broadway with my family!!!
The production was hauntingly beautiful and full of incredible talent!
My day started with waking up randomly at 5:45 a.m. In actuality, I had been tossing and turning all night and I couldn’t seem to get a full night of sleep. Luckily, my adrenaline of excitement kicked in which gave me the energy to get through the day!
I had put foam rollers in my hair the night before and after I did my makeup this morning, this was the final look!
We ended up leaving my cousin’s house around 9:30 and a caught a train up to NYC that left at 11:30!
We arrived in NYC and I navigated my family to the Broadhurst Theater!
That theater is absolutely beautiful and although our seats were located in the mezzanine, we had a great view of the stage!
After that emotionally powerful show, we went to the stage door to meet the cast! I got to meet and get pictures with Lyrica Woodruff, the ballerina in the Swan Lake scene of the musical who plays Odette, and Christy Altomare who plays the lead role of Anya!
I got a good amount of signatures on my playbill too! The cast is so friendly and of course extremely talented :)
My family and I then went to a restaurant for dinner and we even stopped at Schmackary’s to get the yummiest cookies on the planet!
We caught a 7:49 train home and as I’m typing this my eyes are starting to droop. I’ve had a tremendously fun day and I took so many pictures to keep in my memories!
Goodnight!
August 14th, 2018
Today, I packed for my NYC trip tomorrow!
I’m very excited to see Anastasia on Broadway with my family.
I also had my first ballet class in two weeks and it was SO. HARD.
One big ouch. But, it was still fun because I was with my friends :)
I’ll see you tomorrow with a longer post full of stories from my day in New York City!
Goodnight!
August 12th & 13th, 2018
On the 12th, I finished editing that video of my and my friends dyeing my hair using coffee and uploaded it to YouTube! My YouTube name is Halle Michelle if you wanna go check out the (2) videos I have on my channel.
That night, I was just chilling watching YouTube or something when I get a message for a certain someone...
That story is for another day but all you need to know is that I might be going on a little kinda date next Monday :))))
ANYWAYS
Today, I went to Panera Bread for lunch with a good friend to whom I told the big story about the certain someone. She freaked out. Like all my other friends did when I told them the story. Then, I had work. And it was CRAZY. As soon as we opened, people came flooding in. We did have a sale but still, it was a little (not little, a lot) cray cray for about 2 hours and then it finally started to calm down.
I then had to drive home in an extremely rainy storm, and I was about to pull over during one part of my trip home because the rain got so intense, but it lightened up enough for me to continue driving.
I don’t like driving.
Now I’m watching more YouTube (wow what a surprise) and just chilling out, because tomorrow, August ballet classes start and I’m trying to relax as much as I can before dancing tomorrow. I am so excited! I haven’t taken a dance class in 2 weeks and I can’t wait to get back into the swing of things. Kinda.
I know I’ll be sore walking around NYC on Wednesday.
Goodnight!
if you see someone being interrupted in a conversation, acknowledge them, don’t let them be pushed to the side. if you see someone lagging behind, walk beside them. if someone is being ignored, take the step to include them. always remind people of their worth. it hurts when it feels like you’re being forgotten. that small gesture can mean a lot.
August 10th & 11th, 2018
On the 10th, two of my best friends and I went paddle-boarding on a lake and it was so much fun!!! We also swam around and took cute pictures and it was a lot of fun!
After we were done at the lake, we went into town to get food to eat. I got a personal pizza, and my two friends got sushi. We also got Starbucks! We went back to my place to eat our dinner.
That night my friends helped me dye my hair darker using coffee! After that we chilled and chatted in my hot tub which was nice. We also watched the movies Thor and Mamma Mia, while eating Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
Sadly, one of my friends with us had to leave so I drove her home.
This morning, my friend and I went to a donut shop called The Fractured Prune and got some yummy donuts! Then, we swam in my pool for a bit until it started to thunderstorm.
I wanted my hair to be even darker because EVERYBODY who knows me knows that I am THE “Blondie with the legs” (that’s an inside joke from my dance studio lol) and because I am open to change and I like using the shock factor, I want to become the “Brunette with the legs,” you get me?
I’m young, I like surprising people, I am open to change.
So my friend who stayed overnight and I used more coffee to dye my hair and it got darker! It’s still not to where I want it to be and I fear that I may have to use chemical dye to get the darkness I want, but I know that we can always use more coffee grounds.
More coffee hair dye tests to come. Stay tuned.
Anyways, after my hair dried, my friend and I went to Qdoba to get some food to eat and then he had to go home.
I started editing the footage I got from the lake and the dyeing my hair situation for my YouTube channel after he left.
Editing is hard.
Goodnight!!

I was up at 3:00 a.m. this morning because I couldn’t sleep, so I decided to try on some possible outfits for my NYC trip next week. I also cleaned my room at that hour and finally fell asleep around 4:30 a.m.
I then woke up around 10:30 and started my day. I had toast with peanut butter for breakfast, answered some work emails, all while listening to another conspiracy theory podcast. (The podcast is called Mile Higher Podcast! It’s on Spotify, SoundCloud, and a couple other programs I believe and it’s very addicting and spooky too! Highly recommend!)
Anyways, I didn’t want to go outside because I was still on my period so I went up to my room to watch YouTube. For lunch, I had the rest of my Chik Fil A chicken that I didn’t finish yesterday.
I was in my room until about 3:00 p.m. when I heard a knock on my door, which was my cousin! It was her brother’s birthday today so a lot of people in my family were coming over to swim and have a little party.
I forced myself to go outside and I talked with my family until I got a call from one of my friends. She had been driving through my neighborhood because she dropped off one of her friends that lived near me so she stopped by my house and we chatted for a while! That was nice.
I went back to talking with my family and I got help with deciding what to wear for the NYC trip! I’ll be wearing a black halter jumpsuit with some wedges! I’m so excited for the trip because I’ll be seeing Anastasia on Broadway!
I had pizza for dinner and some chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Remember, I’m stopping the sugar cleanse until I do further research on how to do it healthily.
Tomorrow, I might be going to a lake with my friends and go paddle-boarding!
Goodnight.
