thinking about her (three sword style Nami that Oda drew for One Piece magazine vol. 13)
@sapphic-togachako commissioned me to draw a matching Vivi, so here's the two side by side!
remembering that time i met someone who attended high school in west bend, wisconsin and they told me how their school district works. to them it was completely normal while i was wondering if they were messing with me.
their schools are conjoined twins???
okay, for those wondering and speculating, the city was too big for one school, but in the 70’s they had a lot of land available on the eastern outskirts of town so they just made one big building.
it’s pretty much mirrored on the inside except east has all of the music/art/special ed classrooms/auditorium and west has the gym/pool/health classrooms/kitchen/nurse’s office
most elective classes were mixed attendance, sometimes gen ed classes had a random kid or two from the other school to make their schedule work.
we could eat in either cafeteria, i usually ate wherever i could find a group of friends in my lunch hour (there were 3 lunch hours to accommodate the high number of students)
some clubs like drama, music, tech, etc were mixed schools, sports and clubs like debate and student council were separate.
it was otherwise pretty normal. there wasn’t any real rivalry between sports teams, but it was fun to pretend there was during homecoming. when i was there west had better athletics teams, but when my brother was there east was better.
they vote to merge every couple of years, but students prefer it to stay this was so they can stay in the smaller athletic conference and have better access to sports.
so yeah. that’s the west bend high schools.
I guess I just like to draw sleeping cuties…
Do you have a piece of media you like that constantly shows up in DNIs that you never post about on here in fear of people starting shit with you over it?
I'm 34 years old. If I still care about any of this, I should kill myself.

Donald Trump’s election has accelerated a cultural shift in the nation’s boardrooms
“I want to harm others without any repercussions!” says the rich white man who has harmed millions with impunity and is now 2.3 trillion dollars richer for it.
