Hello! :D I have a question, but I'm going to start out by saying that you have amazing artistic skills. :D Like really it's beautiful! :) okay, on to my question, how/what do you do to get your picture turning out so well? like what camera do you use for it? cause I can't seem to get a picture of my art that really shows the colours unless it is with a phone and they quality isn't as good. :\ Thanks so much! xD ~Grace ♥
Hello!Thank you so much Grace! Getting good pictures of my art is something I still struggle with. The most important factor is having enough light. Usually I try to photograph them in front of a big window or with direct light--the best ones have been taken out on my porch during the middle of the day. Most of my pictures were taken with an Olympus PEN E-PL1. I generally take at least a dozen photos of each and try using different settings so see which works best with each piece (sometimes "macro", sometimes "document," etc.). If all else fails I use free online photo editors to brighten/sharpen the images and tweak the colors if necessary. Really hope this helps!
