// Suffer. Misery loves company... and that's true. People who find the negative in everything attract other people who do the same. And together the mirror back and forth exactly who they are to one another... and feed on that energy. Misery does indeed love company. But, misery doesn't have to result in suffering. You see this reflected in gyms all over. People pushing their bodies and feeling the pain it brings, all while coming back for more. They choose hard things, but never see it as suffering. Because suffering is optional. You may find yourself in a bad spot, rough WOD, or bad relationship and you can wallow in the pain and spout off your "woe is me" talk, but that saps your energy, drains you physically and mentally, and repels anyone capable of helping you. A different way of seeing that hard situation is that it's there to make you more. To challenge you to grow. To allow you the opportunity to experience pain, but choose to see it as a positive it will ultimately be. To choose to suffer is to choose to weaken yourself. There is another way. Feel the pain. Let it wash over you. And remember, it's on your side. It's making you stronger. So don't make it worse suffering, make it meaningful and endure. Singing helps. N.O.I.C.T.S.Y. J .
