does he anchor when he shoots, does he hold everything proper before every shot sure. Very 100% good archery there. HOWEVER. never have I ever seen a higher disregard for bows than by this man. The bow is a fishing pole to take money from the rich, OK, I can live with that, you are robin hood after all. The bow is a leaning post while you are chattting? You don't need to lean you are fit you aren't even pretending to be in poor health you're breaking your bow. The bow is thrown away against the feet of your merry men? You're not even angry? You're not even done speeching at them? There's zero reason to do this other than that you not so secretly think your bow is utter trash? What is this man's disregard for the bow. How did he survive the crusades again.

Deep Space 9 really had the best time travel episodes of any Star Trek. It had the disturbingly close portrayal of the 2020s, Quark's family causing the Roswell Incident, and the senior staff sneaking onto Kirk's Enterprise where they promptly get in a bar fight (and also prevent the Enterprise from exploding). No one was doing it like DS9.

Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!

It’s July 20th. That’s the day of the moon landing. Next year is going to be the 54th anniversary. I’m ordering astronaut shaped cookie cutters on Etsy and I’m going to have a goddamn potluck. You’re all invited.
