This is going to be an unpopular opinion but idk I’m pretty tired of people shitting on endgame Steve like he wasn’t super badass like yes I get it he left his best friends in the world but he was clearly not happy in modern times!! He saw a chance to get to a place that he was happy and he took it. No way Bucky and Sam would be upset at him knowing that he wasn’t happy. I’d be a terrible friend if I made my best friend stay with me instead of going somewhere where they would actually thrive. Steve only thinks about others let him think about himself for once!! Also he knew the world was done with him, but not with Sam or Bucky. Let Steve Rogers be happy.

Women Artists

-I feel like I’ve heard people say that that the reason female artists in history don’t get recognized is because there aren’t a lot of them and that’s just not true so I’ve compiled a list of female artists, I won’t be able to list all of them but I’ll try my  best 

1. Frida Kahlo (1907-1954): Frida is definitely one of my favorites and also one of the most famous probably. last Halloween i dressed up as her. some of her paintings are The Two Fridas, The  Broken Column, and The Wounded Deer. She had a very interesting and somewhat heartbreaking life so if you’re interesting definitely look into it.

2. Artemisia Gentileschi (1593-1653): okay so less known but one of my favorites. her father was an artist and she also was a carravagist, she studied under Caravaggio, one of the most famous baroque painters. paintings by her include  Judith Beheading Holofernes, Susanna and the elders, and self portrait as the allegory of painting. fun fact, the scene Judith beheading holofernes was also painted by Caravaggio, and if you compare the two paintings you will see that Caravaggio painted the girls beheading the guy very daintily, while artemisia painted them really getting into it. 

3. Judy Chicago (1939-present): Judy Chicago is known for her contemporary feminist art. probably her most notable work is the dinner party, which is basically place settings for females throughout history, and the plates look like vaginas. (seriously look it up) but other works of hers include Rainbow Pickett and earth birth 

4. Vigee Le Brun (1755-1842): she painted for the court of Marie Antoinette, but avoided getting her head cut off by leaving before heads started rolling. other than painting for Marie Antoinette, she painted a lot of self portraits, and painted in rococo and neoclassicism style. some of her works include: portrait of Marie Antoinette, Marie Antoinette de Lorraine-Hapsburg queen of France and her children, and self portrait in a straw hat 

5. Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986): she is known for painting vaginas-well not really. she is actually known for painting flowers and landscapes. but some her flowers kind of look like vaginas, but she has come out and said that they were not meant to look like that. so you can decide for yourself. some of her paintings are jimson weed,  black iris, and oriental poppies.

6. Cindy Sherman (1954-present): she is a contemporary photographer. she worked as her own model for her pictures most of the time, and would dress up as different characters in different settings, usually to make a statement. her works are untitled #184, untitled #153, and untitled (Marilyn). 

7. Mary Cassatt (1844-1926): she was an american painter and print maker. she was mainly an impressionist who actually befriended Edgar Degas. other than that I don’t know much about her, but if she interests you i encourage you to do some research! some of her works include: the child’s bath, little girl in a blue armchair, and young mother sewing

of course there are so many others, so feel free to add any others you think of!

8. Amrita Sher-Gil (1913-1941) a Hungarian-Indian painter! she’s been called a pioneer for modern indian art. she kinda goes from a western-inspired style to a more indian style later in life. she was also bisexual!! works include group of three girls, bride’s toilet, village scene 

9. Berthe Morisot (1841-1895) - a french impressionist! she actually married Manet’s brother. she’s one of my favorites. she painted lots of women and her style is really dreamy.. some works of hers are lady at her toilette, the psyche mirror, and the cradle

10. Edmonia Lewis (1844-1907) - she was a half black, half native american sculptor. she ended up being able to go to Italy. her style is neoclassic! and some works of hers are the death of cleopatra, forever free, and Hagar

11. Pan Yuliang (1895-1977) - she was a chinese painter! she had western influence in her art and actually ended up teaching in paris. she paints a lot of nudes and i dig it. works: nude with a cat, nude by the window, and moonlight sonata 

12. Alice Neel (1900-1984) - an american painter. she did portraits that were really expressive and bold. she also struggled heavily with depression and anxiety. she did a portrait of andy warhol too that i just saw at the whitney musem actually! some other portraits are of stephen shepard,  rachel zurer, and ron kajiwara.
