How he suddenly becomes a silver-tongued charmer who expresses his utter devotion with a romantic tale of knights and chivalry and love-beyond-death. He ends with a softly-(un)spoken and sincere promise: "I can't and won't live without you".

Meanwhile, smooth-as-butter-Henry, who can talk his way into a kings banquet and out of pretty-much-anything, up to and including mass murder if necessary, suddenly loses all ability to do words.
