Yo! I finally am getting my commission stuff set up again after my (rather messy) move across the states. I’ve been looking for jobs nearby, however have been struggling to get any to answer or call back (the job market is in shambles 🥲)
I put proper prices on my for sale folder fellows, so it’d be awesome if you could take a gander at my toy house! I’m also working on new adopts, but will also be taking custom comms. There are also a few freebie guys in the folder!
my kofi has lots of discounts for membership and bundle purchases too on custom art if you’d like to take a look! Some bundles may require add on or contacting me if the discounts don’t apply properly, so feel free to reach out if they mess up!
I am currently working off of my savings, but it will unfortunately not last very long as the move had been pushed forward a few months which didn’t give much time to do extra saving. Starting next month I will need to assist with rent, more money on groceries, plus I need stuff for meds, cat food/utilities, gas, et cetera. This is not an emergency, but I’d like a bit of wiggle room until someone can hire me haha.
sharing is appreciated but if not that’s cool too :^
I will also take some requests for adopts if you don’t have the money for customs, or bases to use (I will be getting around to making customisable base bundles for about eight dollars per bundle! So look forward to that!). Although not listed on my TOS explicitly, I will do 18+ art as long as it does not contradict said TOS. For inquiries or examples, contact me via DMs, and/or we can discuss over discord.
I will try to update as much as I can and respond as efficiently as possible, although looking at my socials the past few months has been a big struggle, so please don’t be afraid to blow my inbox up a little if you need me to respond faster haha, it helps me to see what’s happening and needing to be prioritised.
Dragon and vampire living out in the countryside, raising farm animals (with plenty of cows and horses and lots of other bigger animals) away from main cities not needing to be careful with their identities because the nearby neighbours (which are all a mile+ away) trade with them animal feed and farming materials for their high quality eggs and incredible abundance of milk.
The two use the cattle herd to consume the blood (and rest of the animal, once the vampire is done) and are thriving. Nothing goes to waste. Everyone in the county knows about them and loves their goods. The dragon is great at doing local deliveries, the vampire helps keep the predators away from everyone’s farms whilst being sure the ecosystem is clean and protected from anyone trying to buy the land.
Their services are paid by being hush hush of their location and presence (and maybe a goat here and there!)
The dragon and vampire are also a couple and gay lesbians.
With SeaKites being a class instead of a species, and their diversity of shapes, sizes, colours, and traits being so incredibly varied it’s probably going to be a little difficult to tell what makes a SeaKite a SeaKite, right?
The class of SeaKites is, for the sake of simplicity, exclusive to their ‘’world’’, and how- true to life- many things are classified can typically have individual species or specimen that cross some barriers or perhaps even oppose traits. Such as mammals having a few outliers. And SeaKites are no exception.
But within this context, they can be defined with these distinctive traits;
- amphibious lifecycle. Regardless if the adult will remain on land or in water, the lifecycle will begin in water and (at some point or another) be required to be on land or wetlands to live.
- have some forme of ‘horns’ or fleshy head structure, typically to intake sounds better. They lack particular qualities of hearing organs that allow them to identify distance or location of a sound. So these structures act similarly to that of an echo chamber, which their brains are hardwired to use the bouncing sounds and pinpoint a vague location of which a sound came from. Although some species may have adapted to have their structures be used for other things!
- an array of pits on their faces for feeling atmospheric changes (useful in flight or harsh weather conditions)
- is a vertebrae that is an ectothermic poikilotherm, with a few species exceptions being endothermic poikilotherms
- oviparous (but clutch counts vary heavily between species)
- with the exception of sea dwelling species, they do not have particularly flexible spines, as land dwelling species initially had their collarbones and sternums fixed to accommodate flying capabilities (which not all have). Their neck vertebrae however are rather flexible, and can fold and extend with ease!
There’s definitely more but I’m trying to keep the list widely vague as to not exclude particular species that do indeed cross into the grey areas of the classification.
A wide array of traveling or modernised groups have taken to adorning themselves with metal vertebrae. They are used for many things, from aesthetics to defence to even flying capabilities.
These metal doohickeys are typically made for the sake of necessities. They allow the SeaKites aerial manoeuvres to be moreso consistent and less likely to be tossed about due to an air current. Can also be used to hold tools, hook on clothing, provide spinal support, bases for prosthetics, and far more. Sort of if shoes were cooler and also way more useful.
Despite being amphibians; land dwelling SeaKites have rather rough skin or porous hides. The bigger fliers tend to have patches of keratinous fur around the core of their bodies. Their skin produces keratinous scutes that usually are moreso prominent the older they get. Although the sea farers produce far less and have smoother skins.
Speaking of furs, a few outliers do tend to grow as fluffy amphibians, although not necessarily for warmth but moreso to act as sponges for drought seasons. This fur texture is not always compatible with flight, so many of the species that do have fur are typically flightless. But those that do have fur and flight capabilities are rather a sight!
Hi I’m in another state now :^ hello from the new state location will try to answer asks I done got but social medias have been like the bottom of my priority list to look at lol 😔
