❥︎ Heartfelt Sys Introduction!

Hello everyone! We are the Heartfelt Sys, a lovecore based, minor bodied, multigenic system.

We currently have around 15 members, if I counted correctly, and have been a system for a long while.

We aren't good at conversations by any means, so please don't be upset if we seem awkward! ^^'

As previously mentioned, we are multigenic, so no anti-endos or sysmeds, please.

We're very new to Tumblr, and this is our first time opening up as a system to anyone but our first system friend, so if you guys have any recommendations on what we should post, then please feel free to tell us! :D

Since all of us have mixed views on proshipping, this blog will just be labeled as neutral-ship. Proshippers are allowed to interact and such, but please do not directly involve us in anything proship related. (Tagging us in proship posts, asking for advice on shipping discourse, etc.)

2. The traditional Inuit diet is one of the healthiest in the world, and the most balanced for the ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 consumption

Most modern diets consume way too much Omega 6 and not enough Omega 3.

3. Inuit is a plural noun. When speaking about a single person the correct word is Inuk (always capitalized)

I read all the health pamphlets as a child.

“Look for lumps,” they said, “watch out for unusual lumps and discharge.”

They did NOT say, “By the way, some areolas have little bumps on them. And some get pimple-ish things around the edges. Or on the nipples. These are not the lumps we are talking about, and that is not the discharge we are talking about.”

I spent years worrying about whether I had breast cancer. (I got exams, every year or two, and those were always fine and I stopped worrying. Mostly. But then a new tiny bump would show up on the edges and I would wonder IS THIS IT? …but not ask to see a doctor because 14-year-old girls worry about everything, all the time, and six months ago the doctor poked at my breasts and didn’t say anything alarming, so this is… probably fine? Like last time?)

I had a slightly more present and caring doctor tell me what I need to be looking for specifically are lumps that feel like peas or grains of rice.

That distinction cleared so much up for me, like, breast tissue is all lumps and bumps normally (which is what mamories feel like to me). What the hell do they mean by lumps????

I feel like this needs to be taught in health class. To everyone, not just AFAB or cis women, but to everyone. Whether it’s checking your own body or noticing something on your partner’s body, everyone should be taught this. Even AMAB individuals can develop breast cancer, but nobody tells them, unless it randomly gets noticed during an exam or if there’s a history in the family.

Anyone have headmates who just sit in co-con with a song playing in their head that everyone can hear? Like audibly? Because its become a running joke to play effectively elevator music while nothing is happening with the body. Other headmates will play an alarm sound when it's time to wake up. Is this just an us thing? Being able to project semi-audible sound clips to front? Its kinda fun but sometimes I just Hear Something and I go "the hell was- oh its you" and it makes me giggle. Anyone?
