coming here again to say that i do not like when people say that Light 'cheated' in the game between him and L. It's a competition of who can finish the other off first. So to say Light finally killing L is 'cheating'.... wow it's almost like that's the whole point

i agree but i think when people say that, they mean that Light took the easy way out and used Rem to kill of L (no idea if that makes sense)

that's part of the misconception imo! like, him using rem is one of the 'smarty plan' part of the game yk. again it's abt who can execute the other first. both did extreme & wild things to do what they had to do to win so if there's a way to do it, that's the right way to win. many roads leads to rome basically
