Hello, I am Gracie, hence the user name. I like my name because it is unique, like me. I was sorted into Ravenclaw, and I've taken the Myers-Briggs test twice and gotten 2 different personality types: INTJ & INTP. I am someone who gets angry easily, and holds grudges close to my heart so I won't forget them. I have very strong opinions about everything and I can't see how people can see differently from me because my views are both logical and compassionate and I look at things from all angles. I have an amazing memory and can remember just about everything I learn about or hear; the exception being math. Amazing memory now in play, I have trivial knowledge that would put Ken Jennings to shame. My life has genuinely been exceptionally hard, and that crap about making you stronger is a load of bull, but I did learn to appreciate things more. I believe there is a logical explanation for everything and don't put anything in the hands of a higher power or luck. I love art, fun stuff, cute things, and beautiful stuff, so I'm basically just re-blogging amazing artists' art, and other stuff I like and find. But I am an artist, so I will eventually post my own stuff on here.

MA! THERE’S A WEIRD FUCKING FISH!
Not much is known about Oarfish. Their maximum length is debatable, though there are reports of specimen up to 56 ft long. They live at great depths, and are rarely observed alive. Here’s a relatively small one:

yeah. there we go. a few hundred lbs of Oarfish. like i said, length-variable. that one’s only about 28 feet though. so like, imagine that but double.
look how excited everyone is. well, everyone but the fish. oh, fun fact! they can self-amputate up to 3/4th of their body. lizard style.
Historically, Oarfish have been described as sea serpents, and are probably responsible for a fair portion of myths. In Japanese folklore, their appearance portends earthquakes. Though rarely seen, Oarfish live in every ocean. All around the world. Everywhere. No matter what coastline you’re on, they’re always there. Just a few thousand feet below water. Waiting.
