What I hate the most about the term "autism is a superpower" is the fact that, once again, it just gives allistics a reason to ignore our struggles.

You're autistic and need accommodations? We won't give you those, but you can do (the thing) so instead we'll focus on that and ignore your actual needs!

"I'm autistic."

Them: "Oh! What's your superpower?"

"I don't have one. I'm actually in constant burnout from work--"

Them: "You can work?! That must be your superpower!"

"No...I'm actually in soul-crushing burnout from it."

Them: "But you can work! And you hide your autism so well! It's like a superpower!"
