Astarion - Face Close Ups- Appreciation Post
Just leaving these clipped, close ups of Astarions face. I know I have conflicting feelings about him, personality and purpose wise, but his face is no conflict for me, he is beautiful.
That one (above) gives me so many feels.
Look at that puppy eyes face (above)…damn it.
These two in the grass always make me wonder what he’s thinking, what are his deepest thoughts, memories (have they all gone because of being changed? Or repressed?), is he sad, lonely, longing for happiness, peace? Maybe it’s all evil as the lore suggest for vampires, and he just wants power? Control? Dominance? Cruelty? Who knows, but it has me thinking so much.
(Nose appreciate above). Unfortunately no real clear shots of his ears, which si a shame because he’s an elf too not just a vampire spawn.
I’d really love to know who his face model was, because it isn’t Neil Newbon, his eyes are completely different and his facial structure too. I know he did the body and voice but that isn’t Neil’s face. Still, beautiful performance but that face.
