how about this: when i was 9 and my stepdad beat me until i passed out and i told my friends at school, my teacher over heard and i was interviewed by cps. they also went to my house when i was at school. when i got home, my step father was waiting on the couch, and told me who visited him that day. he told me if i ever snitched again he would beat me to within an inch of my life.

how about this: my mother locked me out of the house when i was 14 and when i cried so loud the neighbors called the cops, the cop told me i should have been respectful of my mother who was trying to sleep.

how about this. the demon you know is less scary than the demon you don’t.

children in abused households are raised to fear the idea of being taken away. children in abusive households see that help makes things worse.

Even if we've barely interacted at all let alone spoken to one another, you still matter to me, alright? I would still feel your absence, regardless of what form that absence would take.

And frankly, even if you hate and detest me for whatever reason and have done or tried to do things to hurt or even kill me, there's still a thousand reasons i'd rather learn you stopped because of than your death, disappearance, or having moved on to a new target. I'm not under any illusions that it will ever happen with any kind of frequency since it requires a willingness and capacity for introspection, critical thinking, humanization, and kindness that most of you have carved out of yourselves by this point, but I sincerely hope at least some of you come to realize of depths of the pointless misery your actions have helped to spread. Fix your hearts. No "or die". I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with

But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. If elder scrolls 6 is indeed in the iliac bay and has both Hammerfell and high rock in it then they’re almost definitely gonna have a ship building mechanic and some sort of pirate storyline even if it’s just a side quest. In the lore that region is known for pirates so they can’t just not do that.

Todd if you set the game in the iliac bay and don’t put any pirates in it you will never hear the end of it and that is a threat
