Except if he existed in the Pokemon world, no he wouldn't. He'd own a Cetitan, a Clawitzer, a Dragalge, and various other aquatic Pokemon to help him track down the beast. He'd be out there trying to catch the Shiny Wailord that wronged him, as revenge.
