Phineas and Ferb episode concept
It's Pride Month and Phineas, Ferb, and co find out that due to current legislation, it will be harder for trans people to get their HRT and get on HRT. The kids decide they will manufacture their own hormones and (with the help of the fireside girls) deliver them. Baljeed and Buford are in charge of spreading the word. Buford is confused but supportive (big "her pronouns are they/them" energy). As they are turning the backyard into a lab, Phineas notices something. "Where's Perry?"
B Plot- Perry shows up at DEI to stop Doofenshmirtz, as he does every other day, and, as usual, he is trapped.
"Behold, Perry the Platypus, my trans-your-gender-inator!"
Perry tilts his head, confused
"You see, Perry the Platypus, when I was a child in Gimmelshtump, my parents treated me like I was a girl, the regarded me like a girl, dressed me like a girl, and called me a girl. It caused me great distress, Perry the Platypus, so when I found out about gender dysphoria and being transgender, I knew their struggle. And with my trans-your gender-inator, every trans person in the tri-state area will have their gender AFFIRMED! And you, know, Perry the platypus, I know you're a good guy, I just feel like we're probably on the same side here."
Perry looks around, ponderingly, and affirmingly clicks, communicating that he and Heinz are on the same side, and he is released. Perry and Doof try to work on the details and make sure it works.
C Plot- Candice has a date planned with Jeremy, and when she knocks on the door, Susie answers. When she notices that Candice has a button on her bag indicating she is a trans ally, Susie gets REALLY transphobic and implies that her whole family is transphobic. Candice panics and takes her button off just as Jeremy walks out, ready for their date. Every time we cut back to their date, Candice is trying to avoid the subject of queerness at all, for fear that it's true and she'll have to confront her boyfriend on this issue. Eventually, he'll notice that something is wrong, and Candice will break, telling him everything, and as she starts to walk away, sad, Jeremy laughs.
"Yeah, my family is super supportive, which is how I was able to get on testosterone."
Wholesome moment where Candice realizes that Susie was just fucking with her.
Perry and Doof fire the inator, and the fireside girls are delivering hormones, and as these people feel themselves affirmed, they may no longer want the hormones and the kids give up the plan. Doof and Perry celebrate a job well done, and Perry leaves with Doof yelling to him, "THANK YOU, PERRY THE PLATYPUS!!"
To me, "affirmed" in this context just means that they become their ideal self, so they aren't made cis, they aren't just given top/bottom surgery, just becoming who THEY WANT to be
In the end, when the main kids come together, Buford is wearing one of the ugly "ally" shirts, a flag as a cape, and holding a bunch of rainbow balloons. I want him to have big "parent that cares and wants to show support and is trying their best" energy
There should be a song by a queer artist (if it's new P&F, probably Chapel Roan, if it's old P&F, probably Lady Gaga) that plays over a montage that includes all 3 plot lines
The Flynn parents were in their local pride parade in association with their jobs
