I accepted it already but it still makes me sad
tshirt that says I SURVIVED. JUST IN GENERAL
life really is just like. you meet people you love them and then you lose them and you never see them again. and it's inevitable and it happens to everyone and there's nothing you can do about it
girls be like “im fighting demons” and the demon is a degree they chose for themselves
Do y’all think siblings in medieval times would look at the little beasts in illuminated manuscripts and point at each other like ‘ha! ‘Tis thou!’
How to get hired at your local library

I’ve seen so many posts about the overturn of Roe V. Wade on my timeline the last few days. Some are rejoicing, praising God that all the lives of unborn babies have been saved. Some are devastated, realizing that their ability to make decisions about their own body has been taken away.
Isn’t one of the key pillars of the United States as a nation that we believe in the freedom of religion? That each person gets to believe what they choose to believe, and no one can tell them they are right or wrong? So why are we, as a nation, saying, “Yes, you can have the freedom to practice your religion in ALL aspects of your life, except reproduction, in that aspect, you MUST follow the rules of Christianity”????
I am a Christian. I CHOOSE to believe that Jesus is my savior. I CHOOSE to (try my best to) live my life according to the Bible. But that is my RIGHT and my CHOICE as an American. Because as much as I would LOVE to save every last unborn baby, that is NOT MY CHOICE to make. It is my RIGHT to believe that life is sacred and God has a plan for each one, it is NOT my right to force other people to live by that belief.
Isn’t that what God wanted from us? To CHOOSE him? To take in all the information He has presented to us through the Bible and the Church, and DECIDE to accept Christ as our savior? He wanted it to be OUR CHOICE. That’s the whole point, FREE WILL.
But now, we have somehow decided as a country, that if you are someone who is able to get pregnant, no matter your religious beliefs or even lack thereof, you must follow through with the pregnancy to term because it’s the Christian thing to do.
So, welcome to The United States of America, Land of the Free, unless you’re a female.
I really don’t think that there are hundreds of pregnant women in their third trimester lining up to get late term abortions. I don’t believe that there are jus tons of women who carry a baby for 6,7,8 months and then decides, “Nah, this has been fun and all but no thanks.” And im pretty sure the list of women who will allow their whole body to be taken over, their whole lives to change, just to kill the child before birth is not a mile long, contrary to popular belief. I mean, I’m sure it happens from time to time, but let’s not pretend that that is the norm.
