What a fun ask!

So first I’ll start out with this; sirens are classified as a sub-species of harpy’s! While there are many people who think that sirens are more mermaid like figures, they are actually the bird-like figures most of us associate with sirens today! This comes (like most of our classifications) from some of the great Greek poems. Sirens mostly come from the Odyssey, where they are described as being more bird like as well as having distinctive “Siren song.”

When it comes to sexuality among sirens, they are actually quite open minded folk! Based on interviews and general knowage about them they seem to have little to no taboos surrounding sexuality. Also because they are a mostly female race (I’ll get back to that) mist sirens are lesbians. Sirens reproduce though sequential hermaphroditism. This means that depending on many factors, a siren could grow male genitalia. This is most commonly used for reproduction, but there are many harpy’s that chose to grow male genitalia and chose to us he/him pronouns. Which means almost all sirens say trans rights!

So to the next part of this ask, the “Siren song!”

Sirens have a very unique set of vocal cords. If given enough training/time sirens are able to minpulate their vocal cords in just about anyway imaginable! Back when sirens actually ate people they barely used their voices when it came to food, only resorting to luring in any kind of person if they where starving or hurt. They where able to lure people in because when they manipulated their vocal cords it resulted in a variety of affects ranging from a small headache to A full on hallucination. Nowadays sirens use there gifts to often work in medicine or job fields related to there voices!

So long answer? Sirens are a very opened minded people who’s powers are very rarely used, but when they are they can infact, be used on just about anyone.

Short answer? Sirens give off big be gay do crime energy, and can use their powers on anyone!

I feel like a massive asshole. Every time I discover something new that I like, I become obsessed. This happened with P!ATD, Hayley Kiyoko, Starkid, practically every musical I’ve ever watched, and especially D&D. It’s like it’s all I can talk about and all I can think about for a week to several months. It annoys the fuck out of everyone else and I feel so guilty but I can’t help it! It feels..... almost wrong to talk about anything else. And no matter how hard I try, my brain just goes straight back to the thing. Eventually it cools off, usually when I find something new or just when enough time has passed. I act normal again and people can actually stand to be around me. No one else I know has ever experienced this. Someone please help, what’s wrong with me? Am I just a dumbass with a one track mind? Idk what to do, I want to be liked but I can’t help it :((

Being a teenage girl with mental health problems is really shitty because people stereotype that teens fake depression to seem cool or pretend to have adhd to be different, which made me terrified to open up about how messed up I constantly felt.
