Would it be Cannibal Town if Rosie and Alastor weren't talking shit near the town center?
Fic idea where Lilith comes back while Lucifer and Alastor are in a relationship, and Alastor, for the entirety of the relationship, 100% knew that Lucifer was still in love with Lilith and so he decided to break up with him immediately upon her return. Lucifer was so stunned that he didn't manage to even say anything before Alastor shadowed away.
Thing is, Lucifer and Lilith are poly. They're very poly. Lucifer is so used to all of his relationships KNOWING that it's a poly agreement that he completely forgot that Alastor didn't already know. So as far as Alastor knew, Lucifer was emotionally cheating on him the entirety of their relationship, and it's only just then that Lucifer realizes how supremely he's fucked up.
He gets no sympathy from Lilith, she'd in fact laugh in his face if she weren't also pissy at him for not communicating.
Que Lilith deciding to take Alastor out on a date herself to torture Lucifer further.
They somehow resolve this later into the very poly dynamic that Lucifer was assuming existed to begin with. Except now Lilith is also dating Alastor and likes to hog his attention when she feels like bullying Lucifer. Alastor of course encourages this because he ALSO likes bullying Lucifer.

aziraphale? WRONG. meet aziraphat
Since many people dislike GO ending I just want to say that I loved it and for me it was the perfect way of enfing the story (just a bit rushed).
I'll try to explain my view on the story briefly.
The main theme of Good Omens is humanity and showcasing how both demons and angels ruin humanity with their intervention. The whole point of S1 is that Crowley and Aziraphale saw that none of them are on the Hell's side with the whole Armaggeddon thing. Crowley also knew that he isn't on Heaven's side but Aziraphale wasn't convinced, he still thought that maybe he could fix something there.
In S2 through the lesbian café plotline they see -especially Crowley - that they still have the "white savior but spiritual" thinking. They think that they know what's best for humans and try to manipulate them to do so and the girls tell Crowley in the end that it's bad, that they don't want to feel like dolls in their hands even if they mean good.
Aziraphale in S3 learns that heaven is unable to be fixed. That the whole system is rigged and must be destroyed. We even see that some Archangels are unhappy with how the system is because it serves nobody.
And both him and Crowley realize that in order to fix things, to give humanity the chance to actually live (which is the main theme of the story) they have to erase the whole system. I'm sorry to tell you but Good Omens was not just a gay love story, it was a stroy about humanity and tearing the system down. It was sad tyat they didn't get to live together but if the ending was "we are going to spend an eternity in a bookshop together" it would ruin the whole purpose of the story which was learning to care for humanity in a non self-serving way.
And it's sad that they didn't have to love together but I prefer a little sad story that says something over a story that says nothing.
not sorry but the finale of good omens was actually so beautiful. Yes they've loved each other for six thousand years, but they've loved humanity just as long. In many ways humanity was their child and they spent centuries protecting it. Of course they were going to ask for another chance, no matter the cost. They'd done so at every turn.
And God 100% reincarnated them. That cheeky smile when she said they would never see each other again? She wanted to see how committed they were, testing them the way she's tested everyone at every turn.
I say they passed
OH GREAT HEAVENS.
WHO allowed David to, idk, to look like this absolutely mind shattering pretty STUNNING mess
I'll now be thinking about those shots for the rest of my life in a completely unhealthy way thank you very much
Woah.
Crowley and Aziraphale choosing a new universe reminds me of Anathema burning Agnes' second book of prophecies.
They both needed to make the decision of -
Do you want to spend the rest of your existence living by the words of someone who is unknowable to you, who you are just supposed to trust and follow?
Or do you want to start over, to begin a new life even with all the uncertainty that brings, where there are no guarantees apart from being free?
In the end, they both chose the freedom. To live a life beyond what others have foreseen and laid out for them.
I don't think we're talking enough about the freaking NECKLACE Asa was wearing underneath his OPEN SHIRT btw.
PLUS the fact that later he's replaced it with a bow tie that apparently he just?? Happened to have at work just in case???
I mean, you never know. You might want to have dinner with the love of your life you've just met
I fucking adored go3 holy shit omg, I see some people are upset and that's valid but I had so much fun! Jesus was amazing and I loved him! The sacrifice choice made sense for their characters! Its was sad and bitter sweet and lovely and imperfect but enjoyable! I had a few things I wish were slightly different but nothing important enough to make me dislike the ending :) I loved it so much yayayay I like the built in human au lmao it made me chuckle. THEY GOT MARRIED AWWWWWWWW!!! I think the story would have been greatly improved if they had been able to do a whole season but they did great with what they had and I had fun. ALSO THE DATE SCENE AHHH TIME AFTER TIME BY CINDY LAUPER IS LITERALLY ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS OF ALL TIME???? AND YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND BY QUEEN IN THE CREDITS? Amazing, Showstopping, Incredible
I didn't know I needed half-fallen-long-curly-hair-rebel-angel Crowley before I saw her
And oh please.
She's perfect, my wife actually
Some things I really like in the finale
Good Omens + Costumes
Crowley's grey & black outfit in Season 03, Episode 01.
Right, so: here are a few of my favourite things.
Crowley going “Were you good” to his half-dead plant, delivered in exactly the same tone as “Did you miss me” to Bentley in Season 2.
Crowley, with a lazy flick of the wrist at Jesus: “I’m not asleep. I’m out cold.”
Dagon and Eric hectically looking for Crowley’s memo. Gets me every time.
LOVED the sound design of demons not being able to say Jesus’ name.
Aziraphale, in disbelief: “You lost it in a game of skill and chance.” And then, suddenly severe: “To whom?” (Oh, this has the perfect gravity of “who did this to you”.)
“How on Earth could you lose your Bentley to a man named Brian Cameron?” (Oh dear.)
“What are we going to do? Ring a bell? Leave out snacks? Hang signs on lamp posts saying ‘Missing Messiah, can offer Small Reward?’”
Crowley taking an actual bite out of his ice-cream after Aziraphale turned the Bentley into an ice cream truck. With the music.

I Chose Heaven Because of You
God basically confirmed they were never gonna let Aziraphale have Crowley. Which means, every single choice Aziraphale ever made was the right one. And every choice he ever made was to protect Crowley with his love. That's what lead them to stand in front of God in the end. There was no other way. No other happiness. Not in that universe.
If the game was rigged, he was the best player, getting them into the finale agaist all odds.
