Long #weekend for me this week, but looks like next week I'll be back #creating new #football #fixture #posters. Only this #time they will be #designed using #Photoshop and #Illustrator as normal and after the semi success with the #Cask #Calendars I'll be #making a new #Excel #spreadsheet and using #Data #merge along with #InDesign, the #trick this time is to have them created in both A3 and A4 #paper sizes. Well I #love a good #challenge. #selftaught #learnityourself
So it continues, #designing and #creating new templates for the #Cask #Calendars. Yesterday it just want #working, so #work continued #today and stripping back the #layers, got it working my way... so happy, problem is, the #data is been mixed or totally missed out... but at least it works, so next #week more #tweaks before #perfection is made just need to perfect the #excel #document...
Just out of sheer #boredom at #work, I was #designing some #invites for my upcoming #Halloween #party. So #thinking I thought the invites need a #seal so I did. Following that I decided to tweak the #design and #create myself a #logo. Still a work in progress but not a bad start. #logodesign #printdesign #print #partyinvites #invitations #digitaldesign #digital
#Work continues on #creating and #updating my new #portfolio. Still in the #concept phase the early #mock up are looking pretty well and I'm #happy with the way it turning out... So far I have three main #sections #mapped out; #SkillsWall, #Timeline & #Gallery. Next is to plan out to sub sections and additional sections like, #Connect, #Discover and Who am I? So time to step away from the concept #design and start my focus on #building the concept to include and write-ups...
#work continues on the #build of my #portfolio. #working on the #timeline #section and footer notes. With five #editions #planned also planning out how the other versions will #function. So plenty to work on... but next section is the #gallerywall for the #gallery section. So far #happy with what is been produced.
It's another #hot #day and in the #office and as I'm #working #hard, the #summer #sun is #shining through the windows and #today need a #song. Gotten #started and #created more #new #notes for my next #short #film. The #creative #juices have been #flowing this #week. #Writing a new #horror #script and so far it's going pretty well, got my first death for my first #character. Still #planning and plotting the #plot as I #write put my #notes but so far I'm #happy with the start and I know how it #ends. So time for some #fun whilst getting there.
#Working hard on a new #Project at #Work and just #Sketched out my #Ideas and realised that a long time ago I did something very similar. This will end up as a #PDF #File, so who not #Enhance it with awesome #Features like embedding #Media; for example #video, #360 #Walkthrough. There is so much more that could be done with the #Power of #Adobe #Acrobat. Just a #Thought. (at Regal Gaming and Leisure)

#regal had their #OpenDay today and whilst it was filled with #LiveMisic #Games #Food and #Drink I had the chance to get out the #GoPro and my new #iPhoneSE and #capture the #Event. Also at the event was a #characteritures and I took full advantage and took a #TimeLaps #Video and it turned out so well the #Artist wanted me to send him a copy of the video and I did...!!! Overall the video turn out well... but I'll re-visit and do a proper #edit with its own #soundtrack and it should look great along side the #collection of 1000 videos and #photos I took of the #day. Having a #night off and #free my #brain of #creative clutter. The #countdown is on until I get to play with my #new #iMac, #iPhone and #iPad. In a few weeks time to reboot my #brain and get things in order and relaunch, #rebrand and move forward. The past is the #past and time to move into the #future whether that's as a #director, #writer or #designer or all the above. It's #blowout time then #time to #refocus and move forward... 😁
#first #draft #notes finally complete. #book one in hopefully many in the series. #tested the new #expanded #story with my #kids. The response is that they #loved it. Their #excited to hear more. So with my notes finally complete it now #time to take my notes and turn them into #paragraphs. Looking forward to getting the #firstdraft written up and reading it to my kids and for their #feedback. Then it time to #work on the #illustrations and #animations for the #digital #editions. I've so many #ideas on where I can take it, this will be a great on many fronts, not just #entertainment but #educational too. #music is the #soundtrack to #life and music #creation and #learning is something worth looking into for this #project.
Been a #productive day, for my forthcoming restructuring for my #freelance #business #HornetHive. We've taken two of our favourite #jobs, #graphics and #film and pushed them together to #create a #new #solo #focus. #Motion Graphics. We have created plenty of these projects in the past and these are the favourite jobs to create. Not only will we be focusing on #digital #media but bringing #print to #life too. This has been an #idea long on the back burner and now seems to be the time to push this #project forward. Not only that it will give us great #opportunities to work is fellow #designers put add a new dimension to any #project. #June is going to be a very exciting month. This is what I truly #excel in, many #years of #hard #work have gone into this #practice. It's a good #tool to have whether your a #designer #writer or #creative in any way, and now their is a #word for what I do #best. Drinking #coffee and #drifting into #space. (at Bamber Bridge)
