you are in an apartment, with the knowledge that it belongs to your grandma or belonged to her at some point. yousit at a table and around you there are four others, all of them in some way scowling. at the head of the table is a particualrly powerful looking man with a small face and a look of anger displeasure or maybe contempt that makes one think he should have fangs or horns. and he tells all of yougathered: you must kill one of the people around this table. if none of you does it, you all die. you m ove automatically and grab one of the people next to you and run with him to the balcony, and throw him out the window. the man tells you behind you to aim onto the pavement, and make sure he dies. and invites you to return to the table. buit at this moment you realise his game. he is going to make you kill to survive so as to maximise your feeling of guilt. he is an intruder in this world. he is an intruder and before he gets out his next violent command you grab him by his stupid lapels and with a strength you've never thought you had you throw him out the window. you turn around too fast before you get to see him die. all the other participants dissapear you dont care. you grab a pillow off the sofa and run to the kitchen. the dream must end. you have an idea of what to do. you turn on the stove and place thje pillow on it. the plastic catches fire quickly. complex hydrocarbons remember their cousins who went on to become fuel. the air stings. you run out of the apartment and try to jump in the hole betweeen the stairs but something pulls you off course. you cant properly jump to your death. you try and try again and every time you end up just one story lower on the staircase. you realise you should use the window - recent press statement from the bouoston red sox
