Now I'm sure that none of us are holding out hope for a *worthy* hypothetical television adaptation of the locked tomb series, but if it DID happen to come about my roommate and I believe we have cracked the code:
First of all, totally animated. We don't trust live action. Second, the style changes depending on the main character...
Season 1: total Arcane vibes. Everything is badass and grounded, JUST like Gideon would tell it. Things get a little weird when the season finale begins switching to Harrow's pov and-
Season 2: full traditional animation, hand-drawn, knights of Guinevere style. It dips disconcertingly into nostalgia as Harrow navigates the Mithraeum, and by the finale (and subsequent total breakdown of Harrow's mind) the animation gets JUST as bizarre and trippy as only traditional animation can get.
Season 3: Muppets. Alecto is the human
if it's any consolation, you'll be hailed as a hero
“Such a blow as you have dealt—you now deserve it!— that blow to be borne on New Year’s morning”

The thing that gets me so much about Sam and Becky is that he was drugged and happy within the midst of hallucinating Lucifer and so so miserable. So when it was happening he must have been like yeah I can experience attraction and intimacy and be happy and it can feel good etc because he's used to his mind conjuring up his rapist who he was also physically tortured by to degrade him. then he wakes up out of it and it's another violation.
I do think "literally zero evidence indicates that gatekeeping medical transition does anything to prevent regret, but the harm done by gatekeeping is extensively documented" is a much stronger argument than "regret isn't real" cause there's always going to be some anecdote that puts you in a weak-looking rhetorical position for the latter, but the former is pretty unassailable.

Dean Winchester is the type of person who could make himself miserable, like he could be alone and suddenly be like, "Everyone I love is leaving me because they hate me. And I deserve it because I am nothing more than a weapon. Tools are discarded when they are no longer useful."
Meanwhile it's just because everyone is two doors down planning a surprise birthday party for him
Mack neurotypical but really really trying to understand and help + Fitz brain damage and autism who struggles with communication and Daisy undiagnosed adhd and autism and the worst coping strategies ever against it
always crazy to me that bobby has a huge house that probably has enough bedrooms for everyone but sam and dean always sleep on the shitty couch or the floor because they have to sleep on the first floor in case of an emergency like they never fully rest they don't even change out of their clothes and into sth more comfortable goddd. the concept of team free will sleeping on the floor of bobby's living room is very cute though <3
“I mean, ever since dad... All I can think about is how much this job's cost us. We've lost so much. And we've sacrificed so much.” ↳ Dean Winchester

I imagine young Dean loved riding shotgun, talking hunts and cars with his dad, feeling all grownup and whatnot. But some days he'd let Sammy have the front seat, would cramp himself into the back, listen to that Led Zeppelin album and watch nature go by :>

this is a highly controversial opinion, I have no doubt King Arthur was bisexual but I think he was one of the few people in Camelot not interested in fucking Lancelot. he wanted to retain him as an employee but it did not cross his mind that Lancelot was fucking his wife because Lancelot is such a weird little twerp that he did not perceive him as a sexual being. my interpretation.
So true. The Galehaut/Lancelot relationship was like a dynastic marriage to resolve the conflict between two imperial powers. I like to imagine Galehaut was like “I have decided to abandon my plans of capturing [what is now] all of southern England and surrender to you despite my military advantage, all for the love of my achingly beautiful and spectacular new male wife, Lancelot du Lac.” and Arthur was like “Okay. Weird. Not homophobic or anything but Lancelot? You’re in love with Lancelot?”
Co-signed. That’s some real shit you said. Also, unlike Arthur, he was willing to yield and share his lover for everyone’s benefit. And then he died for love. A real freak. One of the best freaks in 13th century French literature.
he’s the most interesting gay wifeguy in literary gay knight history
I started a mental sentence with, “well, when we diagram the Arthurian polycule-“
And then realised that would be such a good title for a paper. “Diagramming the Arthurian Polycule: Mapping the Dynamics of the Round Kitchen Table”
