Oh for heaven's sake one of the contributors is called Romulus!?  I'm going to lose my mind.  I got confused enough with Remus and Regulus!  But Remus and Romulus actually were the mythical brothers who  founded Rome, I believe.

(Also founded the planet from whence Romulans hail, and the sister slave planet explored in the second(?) The Next Generation Star Trek movie.)

Oh shit, Remus, honey, that's not a very good codename.

(I thought the contributors were Fred and George.)Oh now HERE's Fred.  (Or is it George?  Maybe if they listen closely they'll hear the sound of air whistling by his ear hole).

I am getting stressed out that I'm 55% through the book and there is so much left to do.  4 Horcruxes to go, killing Voldemort, Snape needs to Explain Himself, clean up the Death Eaters, staffing changes at Hogwarts, honestly just burn the ministry down and start over, clear up this shit on Dumbledore, turn Rita Skeeter back into a beetle and keep her in Hermione's jar forever, updates on Luna/Neville/Ginny, updates on the Order, Give Me That Fuzzy Werebaby Or So Help Me, I would like to officially know what happened to Bathilda, SO MUCH IS GOING ON AND THERE IS SO LITTLE TIME LEFT TO RESOLVE IT AAHHH AAHHH AAAHHHHHH

I'm with Molly on the high school dropout thing.  I understand that they need to deal with voldy asap, but I'm a little disappointed they won't graduate.

Or get their last year of education, even if they do manage to "graduate" with a GED or something.

I just got to the letter Harry finds from Lily to Sirius and I'm almost crying.

Lupin needs to step tf up.

I've been waiting for him to take on some of the emotional well-being guardianship duty that Sirius left behind, and I am not satisfied with his performance.

"Oh I couldn't write"

"Oh it was a small wedding"

"Oh [constant criticism]"

Like I know he didn't sign up for this.  James and Lily opted in to having a baby and Sirius opted in to being godfather.  Lupin didn't opt-in to anything.  But shit, everyone else is dead, you're the last link in the chain, STEP TF UP.

Molly and Sirius* are the only ones who seem(ed 😭) able to look at Harry and see him for what is - a CHILD.  Ok, he did just come of age where I'm at, but for the vast majority of the series he is a CHILD and needs the grownups to worry about his emotional well-being a  bit.

*I love Sirius with my WHOLE heart, but I will admit he wasn't as good at this as Molly.  He did confused sometimes between Harry and James and put to much pressure on Harry to attend to his (Sirius's) emotional needs in a relationship that, at that point, really should have been unidirectional.

Anyway, the point is, if I die and my husband dies and the officially-designated friend(s) die, the rest of you are not off the hook.  I will haunt the shit out of you if you leave my actual orphans as emotional orphans too.

@itisaboutbakinganewpie:  Molly Weasley and Leslie Knope have left me feeling that self-appointed emotional guardianships are the way to go.
