Everything Steve has ever done has been for Bucky. His entire backstory was him committing felony after felony after war crime in order to save Bucky; he infiltrated an enemy base alone, he flew a plane into the ocean because he believed Bucky was dead, he became a fugitive from the law - all for Bucky Barnes.

Steve would never leave Bucky behind.

But I guess I’ll die mad about it.

Spoiler warning for Endgame!

Quick rant about the movie, particularly the last few minutes with Steve. I’m glad he got his happy ending, of course I am! I love my boy and I want him to be happy! But I’m still not satisfied with his ending. Steve, who became a vigilante and a fugitive trying to find Bucky again, who split the avengers apart over Bucky, who would do anything to SEE Bucky again, only to go back in time and live out the life he wanted with Peggy without Bucky. To me, this ending was just so,,,,not Steve. His entire character arc of him moving on from Peggy and his past was completely thrown out the window. I’m not saying this as a Stucky shipper, I’m saying this as a long time fan who knows all the shit Steve caused just to get Bucky back. Please tell me I’m not the only one who isn’t a big fan of this ending between them
