A design for Poseidon(from Epic)!

My friend said it’d be cool if I made a Poseidon design, inspiration hit me and I ended up with this. Decided to share with y’all!

I picture this when thinking of Poseidon's attempt to overthrone Zeus (I know he didn't do it alone, but hear me out). First thing Zeus does after being unchained is to overpower the traitors, but Poseidon, being the feral god he is, won't go down without a fight, but of course, Zeus is more powerful.

Poseidon and Hera are such an underrated duo: the 'going against Zeus' duo. The angry, rebellious siblings. They definetly gossip nonstop at Olimpus parties

(I believe she took care of him at some point when they were little, but that's just a headcanon for a story I'm writing)

the revelation that the omega device messes up memories reminded me of the Not-Them from the magnus archives, and made me revisit the devastating idea of mourning someone you can't even remember.

in TMA, the not-them is a creature that murders a person and then replaces them completely. it looks and sounds different, it acts different, can even directly contradict the person it killed. but no one notices. no one can, because it replaces people's memories, alters recordings and photographs.

there's always one single person who Knows, who notices the change, but they can't prove that it happened. they can't even find evidence of the person who was. most people just think they're going insane - or that everyone else is.

at some point, a character learns that their best friend is dead. that they had been killed and replaced by the not-them for nearly an year. and that no one noticed. their best friend had been dead for an year, and they never noticed. they have no memories of the real person they lost. only the fabricated ones, with the monster who replaced them. and in a moment of anguish, thinking about the friend they lost and can't even remember, they ask themself: who am i even sad for?

and so i had to draw this.
