I'm just going to say it - body hair (and beauty standards in general) is truly one of the final frontiers of women's issues in the West. Too many women just love their gilded cage too much. It shocks me how virulently women will defend it. I barely open my mouth and the "well I like how it feels. it just makes me feel cleaner. sensory issues. I do it for me. feminism is about choosing (to conform)." brigade come rushing in by the dozens.

Well I don't like how it feels. I don't feel cleaner without body hair. I don't prefer not having body hair. But who will advocate for women like me, but me? For women who do like hair removal, they are advocated for every time they step out of the house and see 99% of the female population also conforming to that standard, or when they watch a movie and see all the shaved actresses, or view an advertisment, or open a magazine, or watch a music video, or scroll through social media, or walk down the streets without receiving insults and glares for having a completely normal bodily feature.

You genuinely can't even point out that hairlessness is a man-made standard without women losing their shit and acting like they are totally immune to propaganda they've been exposed to from birth. I'm so tired.

Being an asexual with food sensitivities is one of the worst crimes you can commit in social situations. Every interaction is like no I don't like it. No I haven't tried it like that, but I think I get the idea. No I'm not saying there's something wrong with it, I just don't like it. Seriously, me not liking it doesn't stop you from liking it. I'm not trying to criticize your enjoyment. Like, this really doesn't affect you. No I don't think I should just try it. I think being pressured to try it makes it worse actually...Yeah I've survived without it so far but thanks for the concern.

twd was such a comfort to me. but i got violently mad when they put daryl in a romantic relationship. stawppp!!! started getting wayyyyyy more critical of the show after that

The whole leah thing made me annoyed, even though he left her a letter he didnt really seem to love her... even though I hate leah and dont think she was needed whatsoever, it is so un-daryl like for him to not care about the people he chooses to have in his life. he doesnt even really look for her.

Season 7-8 are quite possibly the worst television ive ever watched ! I hate those seasons and I will never ever forgive amc for what they did to carl, however the season 8 finale with rick under the tree? Yeah gorgeous!! Do I hate rick so much in that moment? Also yes

They tend to write in a lot of shocking fake out deaths (esp with glenn) that have no real payout. The characters never talk about what happens to them/the people they've lost (thinking about u tdog and tyreese rip)

In summary the walking dead is awesome for character analysis and dynamics. Its a perfect set of characters to get attached to cause they are flawed and lovable. BUT the show is inconsistent writing wise

(Additional thing: why did they retcon the walkers being smart and then bring it back at the end of the last season)
