And His Name is Jon Moxley
The absence of Dean Ambrose hurts Roman and Seth so much, trapping them in a shitty marriage, unsuccessful in finalizing their divorce for 12 years now, dragging their feet because they still love/hate each other, all while trying to raise a bunch of kids and dogs and disobedient baby cousins these days.
It's as horrible as it is weirdly romantic.
Whether or not Roman and Seth are over each other in kayfabe is somewhat debatable (I say no personally), but I think the more damning elephant in the room is their consistent inability to cry and hug it out over Mox.
That would help them more than anything, tbh.
I'm not holding my breath.
I know better than to have expectations.
But hugging it out over Mox is the best way they can process The Shield grief and effectively let it go.
If Roman is serious, wants to convince me that he's over The Shield, he can't just bully Seth. Bullying Seth, Seth bullying him, is the same old shit.
But at least Seth talks about Mox on occasion.
If he does so covertly, but the reference is unmistakable, I would accept that. Television censors are gnarly these days, but Roman can do it if he wants to. I believe in him (kayfabe) no matter what he does, but I'd love it most if he'd say something about Mox, because the timing feels right.
I really hope Roman talks about Mox, because I've been talking about Mox for over a year in Rolleigns Hell (link goes to AO3), and I think it would be fun to compare notes.
It's only my humble opinion, but many of us could use a good cry over Mox's absence.
It's been haunting people for how many years now?
Since 2023 for me personally, but I know it's been a lot longer for some of you out there.
Some of you experienced it in real time and I didn't.
But even I'm sad about Mox and wish Roman would talk about him already!
