I really do wonder how hard those years without Kaveh were for Alhaitham.

Years after their falling out, seeing new buildings show up all over Sumeru that looked so familiar to the sketches he would see studying late into the night with his friend.

When an outdoor renovation was in progress and within the crowd of workers he would catch a glimpse of golden blond hair in the corner of his eye.

Seeing the Palace of Alcazarzaray finished, that beautiful building, a mark of an architect on the land that will stay there until the far future. It's the exact thing the person closest to him wanted.

Yet none of those sights compare to walking into Lambads late one night, hungry, tired, alone. Seeing that familiar mop of hair, disheveled, unwashed, draping over the shoulders a man who he no longer knows. Someone who he used to care so deeply for in a state like that, hes suddenly reaching out his hand not out of pity, but care. Inviting him into the house that hasn't been "theirs" for a very long time.

I think that it was only after all that time that Alhaitham was truly able to consider this "home".

I believe a lot of people are misinterpreting Yunos new song

We only have a small snippet of it but I think immediately jumping to the song being "anti-choice" and "regressive/conservative" isn't taking into account everything that's happened between Tear Drop to now.

A very rushed analysis (i only had 15 minutes to get my words right):

(I should preface this by saying I am extremely pro choice)

The main theme from Yunos character recently –from my observation– has been survivors guilt. From the start, Yuno has been voted inno, nothing bad has happened directly to her but instead to everyone around her. Her and Mahiru were extremely close, witnessing the death of a close friend (and others) in such a cruel way has to have some sort of negative affect on her mental health and veiwpoints.

Yuno has always veiwed her abortion as "wrong", Tear Drop is about how we as a majority, don't agree with that viewpoint of it being criminal. Despite seeing as it's wrong, she still made the choice to terminate her pregnancy. Our refusal to see her perspective made her grow to regret that decision entirely.

In terms of her guilt, I think that it's less along the lines of "abortion is wrong" and more "if I hadn't thought of myself, maybe I wouldn't be here in the first place", "if I had been voted guilty, i wouldn't have made friends and been hurt by their death" or, "my abortion is the reason I had to wittness the death of my friends while I stay alive."

Nowhere in any of her songs or ADs has Yuno said that abortion is evil and shouldn't be a choice. There's a reason she got one herself (possibly safety or work related reasons). I think that being able to veiw it as murder yet still not declare it evil and understand it's values as a medical procedure is at least a decently valid opinion to have.

I think that Yunos place among a cast of characters who have murdered developed humans who have lives and connections when (to most) she is nowhere near that level is super interesting. I'm really looking forward to seeing the visuals and full lyrics to this song (～￣▽￣)～
