perhaps adding Slimer was a mistake. The island is in total disarray. Baxter and Kel are fighting, Mr Boss’s and Equius’s relationship is degrading, several miis have been stranded on a disconnected piece of land, Vaguepost King is nowhere to be found, and at the heart of it all lies that foul ghost. The island may have been at a deficit of Odd Little Creatures but perhaps that was the only sustainable state for it. I fear for the safety of the residents of Hollyvale

Now that things have healed, Baxter and Kellin have become friends again, Equius and Mr Boss got married, Vaguepost King washed up on the shore, and Kora is even making friends now??, perhaps the Trials of Slimer were important. Introducing strife to the island so the residents learn how to overcome it and become stronger… perhaps this Was what the island needed all along, and i just didn’t see it until now…

i fear the equius x mr boss side plot is nearing its end(happy marriage), the island will need to find a new ongoing thing to have off to the side. perhaps Slimer will tone down his reign of terror and settle with more standard wacky tomfoolery instead of igniting rage and unrest among the other residents and maybe also killing some of them
