⚠️CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS⚠️ Nothing Substantial is a new literary zine looking for contributors for its inaugural issue! Our coeditors are looking for work based on the theme of HOME🏡 All proceeds from our zine will be split between Irish homelessness charities! 📍WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU📍 Fresh perspectives on what home can mean, what it should mean, and what it does (or fails to do) for those who occupy it. We are accepting the following: 📚Stories and personal/academic essays (between 1500-5000 words) 📜Flash fiction (not exceeding 1000 words) 📸Visual art in any medium (please note this is a print zine so animations or digital formats not accepted) 📝Poetry not exceeding 30 lines (poems exceeding 30 lines will count as two submissions) We are happy to read: one story, one essay, two flashes, three pieces of visual art and up to four poems. We ask that each contributor submit in only one of the above categories. Deadline is June 30th 2018 (**NOT August as it is on this graphic!!) so get submitting soon!
