This blog is a dedicated space for my current ADHD hyperfixation, which means it may/will change! Feel free to come and go as you please ❤️

As a note!! I am a Certified Adult (unfortunately). My posts include swearing, the occasional drug/alcohol reference, and sometimes mild sexual content (nothing explicit). You're welcome to stay if you're a minor, but just a heads up :)

it's so funny and sad how jean thinks he's this unloveable thing meanwhile he's like the people's princess of the aftg universe. he won cat and laila over immediately and the rest of the trojans are completely obsessed with him. neil, kevin, and renee care about him so much and would do anything for him. andrew begrudgingly respects him and took his heavy-handed advice. thea calls him her little duckling. oh and jeremy knox is head-over-heels in love with him. he really is just that loveable

Ilya canonically fears what Shane will think of his mother when he tells him she killed herself and canonically fears what Shane would think of him if he killed himself and people still somehow conclude that Ilya is angry at his mom for “abandoning” him. Sorry but Ilya more than likely envies his mom for being able to escape. That’s what suicidal ideation is like idgaf if it makes you uncomfortable.

Ilya sees it as almost an inevitability. A death no more controllable than a car accident, or cancer, or Alzheimer's. He doesn't feel abandoned, but he is terrified that he will go the way she did, and leave people behind the way she left him.

Ilya tries poutine for the first time and loves it while Shane watches on with disgust and then Ilya asks for poutine the next Cens WAG night and Lisa and Cassie pull out all the stops to make the best homemade poutine Ilya has ever tried

My favourite thing about this is that you've implied that, of the two men who are both on the team, Ilya is clearly considered the WAG. Which is extra funny because Ilya has been on the team for longer than Shane has.

You're right though, Ilya absolutely is the WAG. Once he's comfortable I reckon he could be a hopeless gossip, plus being considered a WAG would totally make him feel like a pampered little trophy husband, which he would LOVE.

I love how invested Tumblr is with the artemis II mission like yeah I've seen a couple YouTube videos on it but the amount of joy from a space travel mission for random people across the globe and like the quotes and photos and fanart I see everywhere on this site it's just so cool that this brings people together I love it

I fucking hate the way the pjo fandom portrays Hazel Levesque. Like she is not an innocent little baby who can do wrong, she is a traumatized 14 year old, who canonically swears possibly the most of the seven. You can't even use the argument that "She's the youngest" because have you talked to a 13-14 year old. They are firmly out of "innocent little baby" territory.

okay I understand that a lot of the tagged ships below have an obsession with celestial imagery and FOR GOOD REASON.

BUT I've been seeing this quote everywhere and it keeps being reblogged and used in collages and stuff and it's a really small thing but it really bugs me because they got the name wrong

the quote is by an author named nina mouawad, NOT "nina mousepad"

the quote must have been taken from pinterest and, as usual, incorrectly credited

nina mouawad is a lebanese author and a phd student with a focus on gender and sexuality in modern arab literature. you may not care less but if you see the quote reblogged or posted by anybody please kindly let the person know that the name is wrong because I see this particular quote in the marauders fandom too much to just let this be ignored.

I just need the non- book- readers to know that they cuddled in the tampa bed after destroying it. Ilya asks him when he will be allowed to have shane for as long as he wants, and shane doesnt freak out! he says asap! and they talked about where they could go together for the summer, and Shane very nearly stayed but forced himself to go back to his own room.

When Shane and Ilya have kids, they use Shane's sperm. Not just the first time, but every time, much to the confusion and despair of the general public.

It just worked out that way, says Shane, flashing the reporter his most charming smile and shrugging in a way that's a little too casual. Ilya, beside him, reaches unconsciously for his cross.

There are a million reasons why Shane was the obvious choice, of course. Because Shane is strong, and gorgeous, and good at hockey. Because Shane is smart, and a planner, and knows how the stock market works. Because Shane is an only child, and is proud of his ethnicity, and loves his family more than almost anything in the world.

And, hidden right at the bottom of the list where Ilya tries not to reach too often, even in his thoughts:

Because Shane is healthy, and happy, and has never wondered how much time there is left on the bomb nestled deep inside his skull. Bombs, maybe. (Probably, definitely.)

And Ilya doesn't mind, really he doesn't. Shane is his favourite person - you could fill the whole house with mini-Shanes and Ilya still wouldn't have enough. And, on his down-days, there's a breathless, desperate sort of relief to seeing his children smile and laugh so easily. Like it's nothing at all, like happiness comes to them as naturally as breath and movement and play. Thank god, he thinks on those days. Thank god thank god thank god.

But sometimes, just for a moment, he wonders what his mother's smile would look like on a child as loved as his are, and the cross around his neck feels a little colder than usual against his bare skin.

Ilya lost (1) rookie while out clubbing when he was a Raider (rookie was fine, he just slept outside for a night) and now he goes to insane lengths to never lose one again. And thus. Handholding once a certain threshold of drunkenness has been achieved is now a rule.

This continues into him being a Centaur, and nobody questions him bc when Ilya Rozanov wants to hold your hand, well, you’re going to let him.

Apparently people are laughing over Ilya's knees in this screenshot... but it's a perfectly normal position for an ice skater to be in 😭😭😭 I know it looks slightly awkward, but he's just mid-skate backwards. How do y'all think skating works 😭😭😭
