Hello again my dear fanfiction readers, daylight dreamers and late night scrollers. I'm sorry it's been so long since a check in, life has been a bit rough for your friend lately.

So this is a check-in , just a safe place to land between scrolling. Pause with me for a moment, will you? Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth, and drop your shoulders for me too. There now that's more relaxed. Have you drank water today? Eaten even a little something? It's okay if you haven't, tomorrow is a new day.

I think mines found family, something about knowing that there's people out there who love you not because they have to, but because they want to, really appeals to me. Who's your comfort character? I'm so proud of you for making it through today and I'm proud of you for making it through every day from here till the end of time. In light of what so many Americans are going through today i want you to know something while you're looking for a distraction, doom scrolling, trying to find something good in an otherwise bleak day. The next days and weeks are going to be so hard with so many big emotions and feelings.

You are loved, you are safe with me. The world is so scary I am so fucking scared as well but we're going to be okay. So please listen to your body right now, scream, cry eat a pint of ice cream, curl up in bed, and watch a favorite movie or TV show. But please don't give up. The world needs you and I believe things will get better.

No matter how you feel, I wanted to let you all know: You are incredibly loved. You are safe here. This has and always will be a place of love and acceptance. You shouldn't have to prove your right to exist who you are to ANYONE.

On the other side of listening to yourself, remember that everyone is feeling big emotions right now. Please be considerate to others and don't spread fear and hate here. Be kind to those around you and sensitive about what you say or if that fanfic your waiting for takes a little longer to post right now. We're grieving the loss. It's okay.
