STRANGER THINGS S5 VOLUME 2 SPOILERS‼️

Okay guys, understand we’re all (bylers) kind of down after volume 2, BUT — here is my contribution to help with any Byler doubt that you’re having, hope it helps:)

SO, during Will’s coming out scene, I noticed Mike hesitated before hugging Will, and that kind of rubbed me the wrong way — just wanted to mention it. Anyways, during his coming out, Will mentioned he liked someone. I might need to rewatch the scene bc I was kind of tired when I first watched it, but I think it was clarified it wasn’t someone in Lenora and it was someone in the group, or at least in Hawkins. Now, 99% of Bylers remember the infamous painting, right? When Eleven brought it up in her letter for Mike, she mentioned it might be for someone he likes — then Will gives it to Mike. Now obviously Will covers this up as Eleven just commissioning a painting for Mike, but as Will is doing his whole coming out speech Mike has a LOOK. You know? One of THOSE looks? You know what I mean, ANYWAYS, I feel like Mike was very *very* slowly putting the pieces together, AND HERE IS MY (not very big and kind of small) THEORY FOR THE FINALE — Mike is gonna bring up the painting to Eleven, Eleven is going to say the all too well line “what painting,” and then all the dominoes are gonna fall from there. ALSO, i lied earlier when I brought up Mike hesitating to hug and just bringing it up just because, I actually brought it up for a theory I made — again, not a big theory, honestly kind of funny. Basically, like I said, Mike was slowly putting the pieces together and he was thinking too hard that he just completely zoned. Then he noticed everyone was hugging Will and was like “OH SHIT,” yk? Like, this is what I imagine Mike’s thought process to be; “So…he *did* like someone…was he actually making the painting for someone he likes? Because he gave it to me…no, there’s no way….the painting was from El, right? She commissioned it, there’s no way he— OH, we’re hugging now?” Mike, for the love of all things Right Side Up, get your act together.
