oh, to be the owner of a small bookshop on a cobblestone street with roses climbing the front of the building, where books are stacked about in piles and there’s always coffee brewing and a sleepy shop dog lifts his head at the sound of the door’s bell and thumps his tail against the hardwood
Any blogs recommendations to follow? I’m trying to be more active here since it seems I’m finally reading again and I’m looking for blogs who do edits or post about books, any genre is fine though I admit I tend to read mostly YA
Six Of Crows : Leigh Bardugo
favorite characters: adam parrish.
He left bloody fingerprints on the rock, but there was something satisfying about that. I was here. I exist. I’m alive, because I bleed.

#so did they miss the part where gatsby ends up floating dead in a pool and all the miserable deaths in wuthering heights#or did they miss that because there weren’t any chapters titled In Which The Sinners Are Punished For Their Errors#like. even if you require explicit moral instruction from literature it’s pretty hard to miss the comeuppance in those.

Soooo... hi! I’m back (hopefully).
2020 was a pretty bad reading year for me, or actually the second half of 2020 was pretty bad in terms of reading: I was uninterested in reading in general and I also picked up books that weren’t really helping that case; I was also incredibly stressed bc of uni, with midterms and projects and then finals that were taking up pretty much all my time, which also didn’t help to reading.
Now, in December I did start picking up more books again (not many still, but some) and while I’m not at my usual level, I am interested enough in reading to come back here, and I promise I’ll try to be more active, either chatting about the books I’m currently reading or just reblogging posts and edits
