Hal's final role isn't simply becoming the face of the revolution, it's becoming something larger than himself. That's what makes his story so heartbreaking. Every role has stripped away another piece of Halandil Fang until the symbol risks swallowing the man whole. The tragedy is that the symbol grows stronger while the man quietly disappears. And I can't help but wonder if his final fight won't be for the revolution… but for himself.

Brennan’s NPC game is always on point but he’s done such a fantastic job with Lady Aranessa.

Somehow she’s perfectly balancing the idea of “fine lady of a noble house of Fairie” with “the woman that would fall in love with war hero and known troublemaker Thjazi Fang” AND “just lost her whole family to a Games of Thrones-esque horror show betrayal ”.

Like yes she’s polite and kind, but she also bit a ghoul to free herself after watching a young man be brutally murdered five feet from her. She’s willing to jump off a cliff if a Druid meeting goes bad, but still mourns the opportunity to sleep in a big fancy bed. She can summon flower petals at will and then rubs them under her arms.

I’m obsessed with her. Thjazi Fang you were a LUCKY man.

Just an FYI—the original intention of this post was to challenge the way people say only friends, as though friendship is somehow lesser than other forms of love. As if being deeply known, cherished, and chosen by another person could ever be a small thing. Normalize profound platonic love. Some of the most fulfilling, transformative, and enduring relationships we will ever have are friendships. 🫶🏼
