Totally normal for a legitimate for-profit company to refuse to reclaim or stop running their products even after they're no longer being paid to do so. I'm sure it's very normal to just keep running your service for free when your contract's been terminated. Spending money to continue running cameras that supposedly no one is looking at is definitely not an indicator they are just run by the federal government to spy on everyone and only a wacko conspiracy theorist would think so.

Media literacy is understanding that Blitzø and Stolas’ relationship is all the more tragic and compelling because they are both right.

We, as the audience, know that they both care deeply towards each other, even if we also know their flaws and hangups. But they, as characters, go into situations such as the ones in Ozzie’s and Full Moon having no idea how the other one feels.

And one could make the argument: “oh, well, if they’re meant to be with each other so much, why can’t they just telepathically communicate and trust the vibes?” But babe. That is literally never how it ever works out, even for people who are in trusting longterm relationships with each other.

But they are both right in feeling angry and frustrated - and that’s heartbreaking to watch, but it makes for really good drama. Especially when we know that, because the format is ultimately a comedy, it’s almost certain that everything will work out okay in the end. The story is a ride that we’re all on, and if you’re not a rollercoaster person… idk, go find a kiddie ride or something.
