alright but it makes harry even more real and endearing of a character that the first book is written like a child about a child. like i know that’s only bc the series hadn’t developed into all its glory yet and she was literally just writing a kid’s book but it makes him growing up into the more mature tone of the later books so real and wonderful bc they grow w him
