A statement I posted in the Kaidan Workshop Server regarding my stepping down as the main implementer for CK on the new project.

Given Dan Lemon’s legal threat to my friend, some screenshots brought to my attention from Dan Lemon’s twitter, and the actions of the Kaidan Extended Edition team have left a horrible taste in my mouth regarding Kaidan as a character in general. I do not think it would be fair or honest to work on a character in such a major way whilst harbor such bad feelings. I will still be doing a good chunk of the writing, and of course brainstorming and working with the wonderful people in the workshop, just in a smaller capacity. This screenshot wouldn’t load on the original post, but here is another screenshot wherein Dan Lemon liked a post saying “And now over to Micky’s with today’s update on ‘Why were we so mean to H*tler?’” And another liked tweet below it with a caption over a picture of an article titled “I don’t support Black Lives Matter and neither should you” with the caption “Lots of people are ‘suddenly’ discovering that BLM was a scam to use well-intentioned people’s money and attention for the benefit of a highly suspect, corrupt, openly Marxist organization. Well done. It only took you two years to get here.”

Obviously being Jewish, the first liked tweet is cause enough for concern and outrage for me. The other is downright vile for attempting to portray the BLM movement as a corrupt organization to downplay the role it played in bringing attention to American police brutality. So yeah, I do not support Dan Lemon, and I find his using legal threats against my friend to be downright villainous and unforgivable in my eyes, especially since he has yet to apologize to Rabbitt for threatening them and falsely accusing them of copyright infringement for an intellectual property that neither he nor the Kaidan Extended Edition team own.
