Itâs been 84 yearsâŚ.
I donât know how often Iâll be back, but thanks to a very dear friend of mine, I was able to get the courage to return.
I havenât been able to call myself a runner since the pandemic. Without going into all of my personal health and life issues, I will say that the only way to enter a 5k is by a wheelchair now. I use a walker moreso than the chair, and am in a nursing home but it is beside the point.
I havenât finished the seasons of ZR because in my head, I am meant to be a Runner and be Runner Five when I do.
Life hasnât been easy and itâs been a lifetime since Iâve seen yâall or you all have seen me.
With life and what itâs thrown at me personally, not to mention the time that has gone by, Iâve been anxious to come back.
Not a day goes by where I donât think of you and this community. Even if we move on from ZR or our lives change, I think what is here in the community will always be special.
Stay safe and take care out there.
The community always travels with me. <3
Thank YOU for being you.
