I think the “truths” buck and tommy learn about each other are going to have to do with 1 of 4 options:
1. Tommy’s ex, “Abby” is going to be Abby Clark.
2. Tommy was chasing after Eddie initially.
3. The will.
4. Tommy’s past with Hen and Chim.
I think options 2 and 3 have offer the best setup for buddie feelings realization tbh.

It doesn’t seem like Hen & Chim ever talked about the others (before Bobby) much, just Gerrard which makes sense to me
They were still working with Tommy, Sal, & the others after Gerrard was kicked out of the 118
After Bobby but before Buck they didn’t seem like friends but they were on friendly terms, enough to get drinks with him then/ask for favors later
I’m by no means downplaying Tommy’s / the other’s behavior but Hen & Chim during Bobby Begins engage with them normally
They worked with them for years after Gerrard’s departure and were fine doing so, even if they never forgot/forgave (we haven’t canonly seen if they have or hadn’t but would be totally justified for not forgiving any of them)
Why would they bring them up to Buck or Eddie or Ravi or any other new firefighter or even Bobby? At least by name? They were Gerrard’s lackeys and then they weren’t and then they were people they had to work with after it all
After a certain point, at least from my personal experience, you stop caring enough about certain people to name them.
Gerrard never got better while they worked for him, it makes sense that he’d still cause rage and pain and sorrow leading them to talk about their time under him
But Tommy, Sal, and any others would probably be referred as the other firefighters, the others, Gerrard’s favs, Gerrard’s lackeys the others under Gerrard, etc, probably anything but their names, you know?
Honestly, after they stopped being Gerrard’s boys, and especially after they stopped working with them directly I think Hen and Chim would generally stop caring about them enough to bring them up as individuals
Sorry for going on- I’m not great at condensing my thoughts but I genuinely don’t think they would have talked about any of the others to Buck or anyone else in such a way that Buck or anyone else would know what they were like
Don’t apologize!! I agree with a lot of this. Also, I think if they HAD talked about it, the show would’ve made that clear. 🤷♀️

Well, I don’t think we have any evidence that Buck knows how Tommy treated Hen and Chim. He appropriately dislikes Gerrard, but I don’t think we’ve ever seen anyone tell him about Tommy’s behavior. It’s surprising that he hasn’t asked them about their experience with Tommy, but I don’t think that necessarily makes him a bad friend. Also, Eddie is/was friends with Tommy, again, because I don’t think he knows how Tommy treated Hen and Chim either. It would be interesting to see Buck and Eddie find out about that.

I don’t think they’ll actually reveal Tommy wanted Eddie first even though he obvs did but it’s also because they were gonna do Tommy Eddie first but changed it so it makes mad sense to do that based on how it made it look but it feels unlikely somehow. I didn’t actually believe they’d bring the wil, up again but based on it being well 2.0 I think that genuinely could be it. Tommy Abby makes sense too but I don’t really want it to be that it a fun fannon thing but I don’t think it would be as funny as it is in my head lol but it’s apparently something not in flashbacks so I doubt it’s the racist misogynist stuff which makes most sense but it’ll end up being he used to date Josh or something ridiculous and maybe the dispatch scene might at least have Josh saying they broke up cause he was racist and that’ll at least lead to a breakup

I keep imagining that next episode, the 118 talks about how they aren’t surprised that Buck is bi, but they ARE surprised that it’s not Eddie he’s with… and then Eddie overhears the conversation and that’s what starts his arc of realizing his sexuality and his feelings for Buck, and dealing with the religious guilt and trauma.
I’m still laughing at the fact that immediately after Buck comes out to Eddie, Eddie goes home and asks Marisol to move out😂😂😂
I keep seeing people talk about “Guilty as sin?” from Eddie’s perspective and I get the religious guilt aspect, but it’s 1000% a Buck song and I will keep yelling about it. Buck, who feels guilty for being in love with his “straight” best friend who’s dating someone else!!! And how he feels guilty for fantasizing about Eddie, even though they haven’t actually done anything wrong. “If it’s make believe, why does it feel like a vow we’ll both uphold somehow?”
