Those nights when you just aren't tired and need to fill that gap with a whole season, preferably two.
1+1 Makes Three
caringwasmyfall:
—-Sherlock had been sick for nearly two weeks straight.
Each morning, without fail, he had violently emptied the sparse contents of his stomach into the nearest toilet. Nausea plagued him constantly. Finally, fed up with his adamant stance that he was fine and his ever more selective diet, John had forced him to go to a doctor.
Which led him to his current predicament.
Nearly, the original cause was nearly a month ago, and had certainly been a great deal more enjoyable than this.
"Pregnant."
Repetition, dull— but he wasn’t certain that he had actually heard the doctor correctly, the overwhelming wave of nausea curling in his gut drowning out the noise. No. That couldn’t be, he had to be wrong.
"I know that this is very exciting for you-"
"No it isn’t." Sherlock cut off his doctor. The young Omega blinked— what Omega didn’t want children, didn’t crave the security of a family?
"Right. Well. Um. I can fetch your Alpha for-"
"John isn’t my Alpha." Really, this man was awful at deductions. “I want information on my options.”
A half hour later he was walking out, pockets lined with pamphlets and business cards for reputable professionals. Sherlock didn’t acknowledge John the entire way home, keeping his coat on and immediately going to his room, locking the door after himself.
They had been so careful. Damnit, Jim.
He had not seen Sherlock in quite a while; unfortunately his business had kept him occupied most days and night and apparently whenever he tried to spend the little spare time they had left him with the Omega, said one wasn't feeling well. Quite a long time to be sick. Jim would have started wondering about the cause if work had not been so preoccupying. It was worrisome after all – in one way or another, considering what you were expecting. Then again John was hardly a contestant when it came to Sherlock. Sherlock was his, and he would be – always. Jim would make it sure of that. If only not for his damn work. Those people, always demanding, always pushing, all with their requests and all so so boring. A sigh escaped his lips. Jim flopped down onto Sherlock's couch. He had found the hidden key ages ago, if not that he would have simply picked the lock.
The last days had been hard, even for someone like him – used to little sleep or none at all. The last were the reason why he was here now though. He'd worked to diminish the pile of work on his desk to the point where he could let things slide. Officially he was having a very important meeting right now. He smirked to himself. Considering that Sherlock was very important to him it wasn't an entirely lie either... A small sigh. A deep breath. His vision blurred and his eyes fell shut, Jim fell into a soft doze. After some time he heard the door open – ah, he was back. He should get up, greet him, state the reason for his visit. The latter being concern of course. He had been wondering... was something wrong. Or had it been merely a coincidence. Sherlock's steps passed the living room, headed towards the bedroom and when the door closed Jim stirred. Where was John. He blinked hard, forcing his eyes to stay open, though the opposite still seemed much more inviting.
Whatever, maybe he was just... Oh, of course. Kitchen. Thankfully. John would yell at him for more or less breaking in here.
Quietly Jim made his way towards the bedroom. He opened and closed the door, almost inaudibly. Of course Sherlock would notice, then again he would hardly be able to tell who it was when he wasn't looking. “Sherlock?” Jim tilted his head. His voice low, quiet, questioning like his whole posture. He really didn't want John to notice. Not yet. – Momentarily he was even feeling better again, less tired... though he knew lying down would not help right now. He'd probably just fall asleep within seconds. “You alright?” Jim walked around the bed, crouched down so he could look into Sherlock's eyes.
This sickness of his had been going on for a while now. Quite frankly it was worrisome when somebody felt sick for about two weeks straight. Even to someone like Jim. He didn't of the most obvious. He never did. Sherlock didn't look that alright. Neither physically, nor mentally judging by the lines on his face. Something was whizzing around his head. Jim could see the gears turning.
mrsmaryewatson:
Mary looked at him at him and sighed. “Well, we will cross that bridge when it comes, I suppose,” she said. She wasn’t looking forward to doing that, but she had done worse for missions. At least she wouldn’t have to sleep with him. “It’s all pretend after all.”
"Well lets go get checked in and start working," Mary then said. She was looking forward to this mission. It would be her first real mission since she "retired" over 5 years ago. "I should probably call John at some point and let him know that I arrived at the "convention" safe and sound."
“I would like to never even turn that direction...” Jim muttered, returning her gaze, being just as tired of the idea as her. It was necessary evil that came with their job, on this mission and hopefully wouldn't continue to be their disguise. “What a comfort...” he rolled his eyes. God forbid they would have to share a bed. For whatever reason, but he wasn't looking forward to it in any way.
“Aye Miss,” Jim chirped amused as she decided how to go on, and trotted behind her to the exit. “Sure, but let's get to the hotel first. I don't want to carry my stuff all day.” Their hotel of choice was only a short taxi ride away, which meant a lot of awkward silence and nodding and smiling and hoping the driver would shut up before he would stab a biro into his throat. The image of that in mind kept him sane enough not to do it after all. Killing somewhere else than your home town, especially like that in broad daylight was just plain stupid. Besides – Mary's fiancé would not do such things. Not husband, he wasn't wearing a ring after all. Fiancé was much more likely then.
Jim had never been a fan of rearrangements when it came to hotel rooms and he certainly wasn't going to change his opinion now. The you lady at the counter spoke of several reasons and mentioned something about the being a couple and the was when he decided that he didn't like this once and for all. It was bad. – Something about the whole thing was not right and he wasn't quite sure how minor changes wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. And by minor changes as he found out, they had meant that their room was just about the same as before, only that there was now only one bed. A couch as well, but still... For a long moment he glanced at Mary. Didn't say anything, then dropped his luggage to the floor. “You get the bed, no buts,” he proclaimed. Considering Mary would need a healthy amount of sleep it was only logical. The room was designed much like a small flat, but with as little doors as possible, meaning there was none to separate living room and bedroom, so even if she slept on the couch, or he did, it was much like sharing a room and sleeping in two different places.
Luckily he hardly slept at all and hopefully she was no light sleeper. Jim retrieved a few items from his bag, stuffed them into his pockets and lifted the sunglasses. He felt like taking a cold shower to cleanse his head from all the blood gushing around his imagination, but that would have to wait.
By all means, this was not what he expected when he had agreed to this meeting. "Wh- Th- What," Jim stared at the baby on Mary's arm. "Is that," he pointed at it. "Doing here?" He gestured around their location and managed to avert his eyes from the bundle on her arms. Well so much for talking about work now.
"Her name is Willow and she is not an it," Mary huffed. "And if you must now, I couldn’t get a sitter. John and Sherlock are out on a case, Mrs. Hudson is at her sister’s and Molly is working." She didn’t want to bring her daughter to this meeting, but she had no other choice.
mrsmaryewatson:
Mary finished feeding Willow the baby food before turning back to finish cooking dinner. “Well no one’s on my doorstep and hauling you out of here,” Mary said turning the stove off. She put some food onto two plates and took them to the table before pouring them both some wine. “So how long do you think you’ll be here?” She then asked. “Not that I’m questioning the capability of your people. I just want to plan my evening accordingly.”
Jim watched her feeding willow who seemed completely taken up in the process of it. Sweet. “Lucky me,” Jim smirked as he watched her every movement when she filled their plates and glasses. Not entirely convinced she wouldn't poison him, though this was hardly personal. Mary would have to take it as it was and maybe in a far away future she would be allowed to cook and serve his meal without supervision. “Couple days,” Jim paid little attention to what he was eating, once he was eating. He was rather concerned not to stab an eye out, but that part was manageable. “Not more than a week. Depends on how many there are and willing to negotiate. – Couple days when money can quiet them, about a week if we have to dispose all the bodies.” He shrugged, suddenly smirked. “Though I technically could pile them up at Times Square – let the media have its way.” Scotland Yard would probably suspect a serial killer, the media would pick up on that and then everyone would be confused upon realising how all the dead people were criminals and why the hell would somebody kill so many of them? A self proclaimed Batman?
The fork hit the corner of his mouth – Jim adjusted the position of his hand, knowing that this would most likely work only for three bites.

So I Need Some Fine Wine And You, You Need To be Nicer
catherine-goldfish-holmes:
Catherine couldn’t fight the smirk on her lips, she liked the look in his eyes as he spoke about ordering people (her) around. It made her shiver in places that hardly ever shivered around her husband. Catherine’s eyes sparkled in the light of the chandelier as she leaned back in her chair and licked her lips just slightly.
She thought over his words, his proposition was interesting and yet… Catherine deplored a scandal herself. She detested seeing herself in the papers, though she wasn’t sure if that was because she hated seeing herself or herself beside Mycroft. Their facade in public was certainly something that made her stomach lurch unpleasantly.
"Not exactly…" she finally replied after a few moments of thought. "I do hate a scandal myself… and this little agreement can’t just benefit you darling. Once I have the information I need, I have every plan to demand a divorce my my dear husband… I would think you’d be satisfied to see that, though it is, indeed, not payment enough." Catherine smiled, letting it reach her eyes "Though I’m certainly not opposed to… moving on from my relationship with my husband… to someone more… intellectually stimulating… if you catch my meaning"
Jim noticed how she wet her lips and his smile tilted slightly. He had her hooked, he could it in her eyes, the way they lit up when he spoke and she would be a fool to deny it.
A public image was a bothersome, yet necessary thing, Jim knew that. And while his work did make this difficult it would be easy to claim a fake identity for the mere sake of appearing next to Catherine in the papers. “Never sad this was going public,” he smirked, guessing her fear. A soft chuckle. “Oh, a divorce?” he chanted, leaning in close enough to almost touch her lips, caressing her cheek. “I would love to see that... make sure to make him pay. – Bleed him out,” he breathed the last words against her face. A smile adorning his lips. Right – he cleared his throat. The smirk staying on his lips, as he squeezed her thigh.
“Would never have guessed it, if it were not for your words...” Jim replied and sealed her lips with a quick kiss. “Caught it in every way, birdy” he muttered. “Playtime is over,” Jim added, gazing into the depths of her pretty eyes. Mycroft was missing out and though he hardly ever craved it, he realised it had been far too long since he last had longed for someone like he did for her now. He wet his lips and straddled her. “It's time for cash down, honey” he said with a purr in his voice and ran his hand up her thigh, to her hip and dug his nails into the sensitive flesh. She had been holding him on leash for so long and by God he hated being held back by anybody and she had long overstepped the mark.
Some ordering around surely would do her good.
Jim, will you fix it for me ? (Closed Rp with im-crying-sherlock-is-dying)

The phone felt heavy in Maxwell’s hand now as he was sitting against the wall in his quiet and dark flat. He had been trying to write the same text over and over. The words never felt right and he didn’t know how to explain what had happened. He finally put the phone on the floor since he couldn’t stand to look at the blank screen anymore. He let the phone sit there awhile trying to consider his options. It wasn’t supposed to go this far. It was all a mistake. He just lost his temper. That was happening more now. It had never ended this badly, though. He had some pretty bad fights with a few guys but never anything like this. Maybe all the child therapists had been right along. Finally , Max had found that something that would cause him to snap. He let out a deep sigh and leaned his head back against the wall he was leaning against. He just needed to think. He could work this out. Calling or texting his brother wasn’t going to solve anything .If anything it would just make him worry. No, Max needed to solve this himself. Somehow.

Jim had been out almost all day. Head covered with a baseball cap, his eyes hidden behind sun glasses, just like always, so he wouldn't be recognised as easily. Hoverdrones were a nasty little invention and no good for his kind. With Sebastian out of town there was nobody else to run the errands. Of course there were a few employees of him already busy with their assigned tasks or cleaning up the aftermath, but there were a few very personal matters he could leave in nobody's hand's except Sebastian's. Jim tugged at his cap, tugged it down to cover his face a bit more.
There was nothing particular about the way he looked. He was... plain speaking – ordinary. One of those good old fashioned everyday faces. Dark-brown hair, almost black and brown eyes. A bit short, and somewhat too lean for his heigh. Or maybe this was only the making of his clothes – just a bit too loose, a bit too big, just enough to conceal his well-toned body. People considered him weak and while he sometimes wished to decapitate them for their insolence and behaviour, he knew it was for his own good. People would talk if they knew and he couldn't have them chattering about his inhuman strength. He just couldn't..
Today was a lazy day. He popped his chewing gum, gazing across the street, wondering how easy it would be to break in and get the files now.... Too easy, but also too dangerous. Too many humans around. Too many faces to see and recognise him. – Later. Jim turned his head, craning it to look above others heads, but in vain. He walked around the block a couple times till he had memorised as much as possible about the location. – A third time would seem suspicious now. Tonight was the night. Tonight he would get those files and maybe he should make an appointment for the thing on his neck again. Jim rubbed a hand over the space where the barcode once had been. Two months were almost up. It was probably starting to show again. Soon he would have to wear collars and hateful scarfs again.
Rapt in thought the buzzing of his phone seemed unimportant for a very long second. Jim blinked. Oh. Yeah, right – people wanted to talk to him. Wanted him to fix their petty, little problems. – Fun, fun, fun. Sarcasm dripping from the voice in his head.
What could it be now? A fake death? Stealing documents? Key cards? Forging any of that? An actual killing? A murder to look like an accident, or a suicide? Easy-peasy-pumpkin-pie. Jim raised his brows. Oh, he loved those. Sarcasm. Those humans who left him guessing, like they thought it would be enough to poke his interest by suggesting a thing that might have happened. An internal groan the answer. Weren't they all willing to pay ridiculous amounts of money for him to fix their screw ups.
I am all ears – well, eyes. Don't bore me. - JM
He hit the send button and off it went into the infernal widths of the mobile network, hoping to reach it's destination in time. Once he knew what had happened, he would consider finding out who this person was. A sigh escaped his lips and Jim dug his hands, his phone still clutched tightly in one, into his pockets. Maybe this day wouldn't be so boring after all. Instead of all this field work he would rather be home in his office, tending to the really important problems of the world. Not some documents Sebastian had asked him for... why was he doing this anyway... Jim scowled at the building one last time, then turned into the opposite direction. There was something else he needed to take care of. Something of much greater importance thane these documents his tiger needed for God knows what.

A Wooden Train Set That Lets Kids Compose Tune
To a kid, making music can seem very mysterious, but the fundamental love of playing around with different sounds and listening to how they sound when strung fluidly together is something every musician and composer discovers first in childhood. “I wanted a toy that allowed children to discover for themselves how music was actually made.”
IT’S CALLED “SOUND TRACK”
