i hate this website sometimes like you guys cant watch anything without making it about shipping two guys it's just fetishistic at this point and seriously shows that most of u lack the ability for critical analysis... like goncharov explores all these themes of familial legacy and trauma and mental illness and the endless cycles of violence each one of the characters are trapped in. there's so much to say on that but all you can think about is andrey and goncharov lol. like i get it i find it fun sometimes but like surely it's more tragic to view the movie through the lens of love saving nothing like the parallels between katya and goncharov and sofia and katya and even ice pick joe's whole thing as well as andrey and goncharov than to just talk about how they were psychosexually obsessed with each other or whatever. like there's so much more to that movie but tumblrinas as per usual reduce it to just that
