Am I tripping or is this lance sweets
Okay so how is Monica in criminal minds saying "oh, babe, what happened?" To her dead husband more devastating than Daisy's reaction to sweets' death even though Steven was not a beloved character of mine and I honestly think he should have had more character development and that would have made his death sadder because honestly I didn't know who Steven was when theh said he was dead. Idk man.
Something about how Reid isn't innately good but chooses to be. Something about how Rossi acts like Reid could never become evil because he's so innately good, but Rossi's perspective is based on what he sees Reid do, his actions, his choices, which are not driven by innate goodness. And when that dodgy lady says she knows Reid's secret and that he enjoyed killing those men and stuff he doesn't deny it, and how people see Reid as a baby and an innocent child who could never do anything wrong, and how when she insults his mother he tries to strangle her. He literally tries, on impulse, to kill her because she called his mother worthless and dumb. And the rest of the team will never know that, only JJ. And how when she says he can't go back now he doesn't deny that he's gone there, but he says "watch me" because he can go back. Even if he liked killing the people. Because he did enjoy it but killing people isn't who he is. Idk that was just everything I wanted to see in Reid ever since the episode where Reid related to that kid who's a sexual sadist but doesn't want to be a serial killer.
Okay guys I've been looking at a reddit thread where a lot of people were talking about how they just can't form connections with people no matter how hard they try / how much they want to, and I genuinely think we need someone to teach like a crash course on making actual connections with platonic friends. My two cents:
It really is like that song that goes
I'm so pissed off Tumblr keeps deleting my drafts when I try to save them, this one had like five paragraphs and I tried to save it and it just posted this and deleted the rest

I love so much that house is just sleepy all of the time. Every time his fellows argue too loudly in the conference room, no matter what time of day, he’s yelling at them for waking him up. He sends his team off to run tests first thing in the morning and then goes straight to his office to take a nap. He sleeps in his office chair, at his desk, on the couch in Wilson’s office, in exam rooms, just anywhere he can really. Like 15% of the show is just House sleeping and it’s so great. Every episode he’s just like honk shoo mi mi mi the entire time. The only episodes I remember him being awake the whole time for are the pilot, MAYBE euphoria, and most of the hallucination arc in season 5.
So we're Fiona and Prentis like...
I ran an Aliens rpg years back. But the players didn't KNOW it was an Aliens game until halfway through the first session.
They thought it was a sci-fi game but they also thought the monsters were going to be zombies.
Over a period of 2 hours they then proceeded to make EVERY Aliens movie cliche "mistake" known to man. Because at the time they all made sense.
The characters in a story don't know they're in a story or what kind of story it is.
They might think their in a romcom instead of a slasher movie. And if you're not in a slasher movie, why the fuck would you search through every closet in your house just because a cup mysteriously fell off a table in the dining room?
Doing what you expect characters in slasher movies to reasonably do, without the knowledge of it being a slasher movie or like a crime show or whatever, would just look like super anxiety. Like imagine checking every closet because of the cup, refusing to ever answer the door, refusing to help a child find his parents because there's a chance he's actually bait to kidnap you, refusing to let someone in who's screaming for help, you now need bars over all your windows and to never be alone at night in your house or any other time or place. Don't be curious if you hear a noise either. But don't ignore it. You now live in a nightmare of anxiety and never doing anything ever.
"What are you thinking about?"
Oh nothing, just the fact that Spencer "i don't do hugs" reid hugs Morgan not once but twice when Morgan's son is born, first group hug Penelope Spence and Morgan, then, once more once Morgan's hugged everyone else. Excessively sweet Morgan Garcia and Reid are the ultimate bestie trio.
Something about Derek having the option to tell his pregnant wife goodbye or that he loves her and saying it to the team instead. Morgan why isn't savannah who you want to talk to before you die? I think that he wants to be a good husband and a good father but his fear of it is too strong. He disconnects himself from the people he should be close too so he won't end up disappointing them maybe, so they won't be as sad when he dies as he was when his dad died. Idk. It's weird that you want to say goodbye to Penelope and the team and not your pregnant wife.
They're trying so hard to convince us that Morgan's never felt like this about anyone else before. That Savannah is the first time he's been in love. He has a duty to her and he loves her and she's there when he wakes up and she's his family and also they kiss, but this isn't the first time he's loved someone that much. Can they please just admit he was in love with Penelope too and stop using examples that also apply to her of why he's in love with Savannah. Also Savannah should be more of a character, it just feels weird how we know almost nothing about her despite her being Morgan's greatest love. And she gets along so great with Pen so like why can't we see them interacting more. The person Morgan loves the most shouldn't be someone who's hardly in the show, either give her character development or admit he was also in love with Garcia, preferably both.
Something about how on the episode Derek when he's hallucinating the BAU and Savannah being mad at him Spencer and Penelope are the only ones who aren't in the mad at derek torture hallucination because even though they're all his family Pen and Spence are the only people in the world who Morgan doesn't think are going to hate and hurt him.
This is the best ad for Project Hail Mary I have ever seen. Like if I was on the fence about watching or reading it, this would convince me to do so.

And only as I typed that did I realize it was about project hail mary
One thing im uncomfortably woke about is bugs. And im actively trying to get more uncomfortably woke. By this i mean i DO believe the normalised fear of bugs stems from both government and business propaganda. The start of household pesticide sales coinciding with the boom in insect related horror movies. The promotion of anti intellectualism and anti enviromentalism. If you're scared of bugs, you wont care about saving them. If you dont care about saving them, you wont care about saving our home, since without bugs it cannot be saved. If you dont care about saving our home, the rich can do whatever they want with the chunks of it they continue to destroy.
I WILL calmly and kindly try to help anyone who is afraid of bugs. I will show them my finds, i will explain their importance, i will tell them just how sweet and gentle and friendly they are. And I WILL shoot down any immature loser who believes senseless killing is the only possible response to not liking something.
Get woke. Love bugs.
EDIT: this breached containment. My usual like count is like 5 😭 i want to clarify i mean people who conflate fear with hate are the ones who wont care about saving our planet, like people who threaten to kill peoples pet bugs or actively kill bugs outside for no apparent reason. Not people who run away from a bee.
They exploit your innate fear into hatred. But fear doesn't have to equal hatred. I have seen four year olds spend minutes moving a bug using a leaf because they didn't want it on their playground but wanted it to survive. It's okay to be scared but don't let that fear turn into blind extermination.
