It's been a little over a year since Belos's defeat. The Collector returns to the Boiling Isles after some time of exploring the stars. Unfortunately, he's not the only one coming home.

King and The Collector must now delve deeper into the history between their kins and unravel secrets that could help them stand a chance against this new threat. In a race against time, relationships are challenged along with the formation of an unexpected alliance.

I'm just a silly little deerfox on the internet who likes to draw and is trying out writing .w. I've always loved King and The Collector's friendship and want to explore the Titan and Archivist lore we never got (screw u disney), while incorporating my own plot. It's mostly dialogue .w.

Suddenly came up with the idea for this fic after rewatching my fave trilogy XD If you figure out what it is, lemme know in the comments! 👀

Hi, since nothing was done about this, I'll just restate my comment on this reblog :)) along with a couple of other stuff...

Please do not steal my art for your own engagement, or any other purpose whatsoever. I specifically stated in my bio to NOT REPOST my art. Even if this was a reddit screenshot, which I still disapprove of as a re-upload itself, there was still no credit given to my username, not even a tag. Regardless, I still don't allow my art being reposted/re-uploaded without my consent.

It's hard enough battling the algorithm and the rise of AI at once. Even harder as a college student who has to FORCE to make time for art. If you DO see my art reposted/re-uploaded somewhere else that isn't on my account (or alt acc: @joodlezzz), inform me, tag me, and I'll deal with it myself; not extend the line of theft.

I'm still a small artist here on tumblr, and I personally think my art style is not recognizable as widely enough yet for people to immediately know it's me (especially with how much uni eats up what little time I have for art and stories, and so uploads have been inconsistent lately). I'm open to negotiations, but still depending on the factors involved, heck even art trades so it's genuinely better and more importantly--- *fun.*

And that's why I'm here, to grow as an artist, to share stories tied to my art, and just be silly :'3 You don't need to take my stuff without permission to enjoy them too... likewise with yours :')

I don't really post/reblog these kind of things. But at this point I'm just so tired of the problem, even with the knowledge it'll never really slow down.

We just discussed this in class, and I've never been more paranoid TT. Pretty sure it's old news but yeah, the risk is crazier now in the experimental age of AI. And legal policies can't keep up, or simply because governments have 'other things to prioritize'. Yeah, basically... your data, your art, is currency for these people, especially when it comes to selling it to third parties. And you wouldn't even know, because not all processes of how your information is handled behind the platform is displayed in your privacy settings. Big corps like Google and Facebook have their own histories of it, especially when they don't inform you beforehand of changes in their terms and conditions.

Idk if tumblr gave users a heads up on this feature, or maybe it's always been there and I just never saw it. But yeah, ig just know that historically whole ass databases have been sold to partner organizations just for the capitalist heck of it. And if you're an artist, you'll only find out when you recognize your artstyle, or just your exact piece sloppily animated, in some fucker's acc who uses ai to make "art," and having pride in flaunting it as their own. None of us can really stop AI but little efforts like these matter. The smallest oppositions keep a social movement going.

Hopefully tumblr wouldn't end up like those corps who traded identity and data, people's own authentic creations, for money without consent... hopefully... Because even Google went from "your private information will not be shared" to "ACTUALLY scratch that, because here's our new business model..." (you get the gist) at some point.

I follow famous artists from other platforms who have already been victimized by this. But as an artist still starting out online, it would really just suck.

If you're interested, our prof used the 2013 short film: "Terms and Conditions May Apply" by Cullen Hoback as the primary source for his lecture. Really cool documentary :)

I guess before anything, I just wanna say I'm sincerely sorry if I'm inconsistent with Forbidden Friendship, as much as I really try to write, and even with the little progress updates ;^; (I know you guys are prolly getting annoyed with these, ahm so sorry TT)

Senior year is... quite something XD But also because, I wanna make the most of my remaining time in uni despite the stress ;w; And I uh... can't quite do that just spending my free time with this fic :'DD

I started new accounts (yes plural, I'll explain in a sec XD) because I just had to. I'm practicing making commissions with friends before I can finally do it fr ;w; God knows I need the money kajhsjkdfh But also coz it's something I've always wanted to experience, and show my art to more people ;w;

There's also the thing that I wanna grow as an artist, and that meant making stuff outside of my fanfic :,00 I made this acc not just coz I had an idea to continue my love for TOH, but also to force myself out of the creative rut I was in for 5 years, while getting into writing too ^^

I think the last straw for me was when people (mostly orgs I'd apply to) were asking for my portfolio and I... didn't have much that wasn't fic-related (aka a story only I knew about) TT And that became a problem... :'((

And so I made my alt tumblr acc, + an instagram and X (twt) one 👀

Will I just drop this fic and disappear? HELL NAW >:33 This was what helped me have faith in my creativity after all ;w; And what kept me going when school got overwhelming. And like I keep saying, I have TOO MANY stuff planned to just throw out the window >:3 with a pending chapter still 70% complete (some art of it finished included) :D

I'll still manage this blog of course ^^ But to stay organized, most of my non-fic related art will be posted in my alt blog (still thinking if I should post them here too tho 🤔idk yet lol)

The Scholar and The Director as Artemis and Apollo 🌙☀️ Greek gods au =w=

Besides the similarity in sun and moon motifs, is there foreshadowing based on the mythology? Honestly, yes :)))

Important note: There are some parts of their designs here that ain't canon to the fic, like The Director's bangs (and only Apollo is buff like that HAHAHAKDFH) and more obvious stuff like their lack of pupils (which is how I draw Greek gods :3). And stuff like... missing marks on their skin that say something about their past/character 👀 Stuff like the other hues of their skin isn't final either idk why I didn't map that out when I designed them JASHDFAS Eh, will show them when I upload the Archivists' ref sheet some day =w=;

Will also reupload an updated version of the cover art to reflect that. I knew this would happen dammit >:'((

Istg I think I just blinked and 2 weeks have gone by- AKJSHDFKJH

Post-semester burn out always sucks ;-; Spent the first week sleeping even if I wanted to do stuff. It's like my brain and body just really can't... ;-;;;

I really don't want to rush these chapters (currently, yes, plural) :'3 because though I appreciate a lot of you guys liking chapter 17, as the author who knows how the story will run... I was really sent into an internal panic when I realized I revealed something I wasn't supposed to yet. Coz of that, I really don't wanna make the same mistake again in the future.

Yeah, I can be really impulsive at times ;-; lmao guess it really does the username justice KJASHFKJHDS

Had been debating of rewriting that chapter but with the many reads ever since (thank you guys btw, y'all are awesome ;w; 💙✨), I think I'll just suck it up and work with what I published ahahahakjsdf.

It always pains me when I can't work on the little things that make me happy, and well... make other people happy, but I try anyway :')... It's about to be my last year in uni after this intersession (idk what this is called in other countries, but for our uni it's basically mandatory subjects smushed into the summer, so yeah, it's expected to be very fast-paced T-T), but also keep in mind that 4th year is thesis year so... omg :''')))

I won't give up on this fic. And no matter how much school drains me, I still value what I'm making, yet responsible enough to commit to what's important first, and that's my studies. Because I really like what I'm learning too, even if it's hard most of the time.

Here's the good news tho ;w;

I actually DID work on stuff during the 2-week break. What I've written so far is very unedited but is enough to be one chapter, out of 2 or 3, we'll see (because I tend to divide one "episode" into ~2 parts after all). Like the chapters on the Titan-hunting monsters, I can't publish the first without having to complete the next in case I have to change something prior. So yeah, that's how my writing goes, but the benefit of it is that it comes in a set all within 2 months ;w;

That, plus I've finished 2/5 artworks. Here's some teasers :3

I wish I could say more but it's 4 am, and the only reason I have the balls to do this during a school night is because my first class later starts at 2 pm lol KJSHDFKJHDF Plus I don't really want to turn this whole acc into a rant channel, that's what the fic is for, to project my trauma HAHAHAHAHA, Y'ALL AHM KIDDING I SWEAR- I'm a psychology major and I just try to integrate what I've learned in writing characters XD (i.e. how does a particular nature of upbringing affect present decisions, behaviors, relationships, etc.)

Anyway, last bit is this (DAMN, FINALLY) Lumity pride month post ^o^ Consider it as the canon fic designs for them :3 If I ever make changes, I'll just post an entire ref sheet of the Hexsquad
