My favorite part of The Great Gatsby was when Nick said,

And then Gatsby responded,

"Oh, Nick, don't get carried away."

I just noticed this scene (Gatsby being walked to Nick's house to meet Daisy) looks like a funeral procession with all the black umbrellas, clothes, and the rain.

And Gatsby is the only one not wearing black, because he's going to be the subject of the funeral.
