Considering recent info about Tiny Toons Looniversity:

According to staff members on the show, in the reboot, Buster and Babs will be twin siblings.

I’m not a fan of this change, considering they were a canon couple in the original, which makes everything really weird in retrospect (and totally kills the “No relation” gag). I wouldn’t have minded if they made them siblings if they WEREN’T a couple in the original. 

That being said, TTL is going to be a completely different continuity from TTA. There are a lot of shippy Buster and Babs quotes on here, and for anyone who will be introduced to Tiny Toons through the reboot, I just want to make it clear that all Tiny Toons quotes are in the Tiny Toon Adventures continuity, where Buster and Babs are NOT related. I don’t know if I’ll be posting quotes from Looniversity when it premieres because it might make things confusing (similarly, Looney Tunes quotes on here are from the “main” continuity rather than The Looney Tunes Show- nothing against TLTS, I love it myself, but I always considered it an alternate universe. Note that Lola on my blog is usually her Space Jam/DC comics/New Looney Tunes personality; I love TLTS Lola but I just wanted the blog to be consistent).

Also note that the show is still in development and things could change between now and when it gets closer to the premiere.

UPDATE 10/23: Show has premiered. Yes, Buster and Babs are twin siblings in this. From everything I’ve seen of Tiny Toons Looniversity, it’s really “meh”. Please keep all Tiny Toons quotes in the Adventures continuity.
