I started workshopping some potion bottles for Ren Faire a few months ago and I feel like I’m getting somewhere…. They’re different than the standard rounded bottom but I tend to appreciate that I can set them down on flat surfaces. I’m still figuring out finishing off the mouths so they’ll take the same cork but I’m just about there.

Testers for champagne flutes or potentially vases

I like the rustic edge for a vase but would definitely even them out for champagne. Really happy with these glazes though!!

So all my wax resist details ran over. The mermaid, waves, fish, seagulls, stars, even the whale. ….and the vinyl ones didn’t. (Clouds, ship, moon) Of course. I hate that because I am just better with traditional art mediums. Digital art isn’t my strong suit. I have a lot of respect and admiration for people who excel at digital art. I find it so overwhelming 😭 like you have 200 brushes and a billion colors to choose from. HOW? What???? Oh god.

Been workshopping some mugs 😊 I did wax resist for most of the details but drew the ship up on procreate and cut it out of vinyl to test which does better….

I prefer to work with wax resist because I’d rather freehand my designs right on the mug. But I can’t ever get crisp glaze lines with it. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but it’s making me a little insane tbh
